I received my Secure Door Braces no problem via UPS. As according to your parts checklist I received everything that I needed to install the braces on my 7 foot garage door. While the checklist shows a masonry bit I also understand that it is NOT included in the kit. Assembly of the braces was straight forward and the online instructions and video clip were very accurate and helpful. The installation of the braces to the garage door was very simple and straight forward. I was considering making my own braces with wood as per a LOWES online video but decided that the Secure Door Braces would be worth the cost and permanence of the metal braces. I did not like that the Deflection Brackets stuck our so far and posed a safety hazard - I was considering cutting them to size but then just decided to cover them with foam used to insulate plumbing pipe that was cut to size - I held them in place with twisties. I am 100% SATISFIED with my purchase and installation of the Secure Door Braces and I THANK YOU for a QUALITY product!!

I personally found the Secure Door 2-brace Kit for my 18-ft wide garage door arrived well packaged, aluminum and steel components / hardware are engineered, of good quality, well fabricated, and reasonably simple and straightforward to assemble and install, requiring minimal "handy man" type skills and limited tools ( * propertly setting the expansion anchors in concrete floor slab using hammer drill the only task requiring some effort ). Aside from some minor "discrepancies" found in the installation instruction ( * a digital file download ), this Kit is well worth the cost for an older home retro-fit install and more cost effective and likely structurally superior than a complete door replacement.

I was impressed by the design and quality of these braces, and feel they are worth the price I paid. Their website has an instructional video that is very clear (though not exactly in the same order as the written instructions, but both work). It's thick aluminum and cleverly designed to be really quick and easy to put up ahead of a storm. The initial installation took me about 2 hours for two garage doors, taking it easy and being careful. I rented a hammer drill to drill holes for the concrete anchors and it was really easy. Once assembled, the brace took me about 5 minutes to put in place for each door. I'm very satisifed and feel much better about my garage doors holding up in a big blow!

This is our second set of SecureDoor Braces for our new home. We left the original set with the person who bought our former home and he is thrilled. We built a new house in 2023 and we immediately ordered a new set of braces for our hurricane-rated garage door. These things are great!! We recommend them for every home. They reduce the overall wind load on the garage door and transfer it into the building and into the ground. We have gone through Hurricane Irma and Hurricane Ian with these braces and they are a must-have for any home! When you have a 16-foot opening in your home, i.e. the garage door opening, you need top-quality protection.

This is a high quality product with excellent instructions and customer support. I assembled while my wife read the instructions. We’re glad we completed the assembly prior to hurricane season. Now we feel confident that implementation in anticipation of hurricanes will be a smooth process. Attaching the assembled braces to the garage door and floor should take less than 30 minutes.

Well functioning website ordering. Braces arrived in 2 days. Needed several brackets to correspond to the garage door rails, which they promptly sent. Decided to substitute our own lag shields plus lags for the Tapcon screws for the top brackes, as we have more confidence in their long term pullout capacity. But now feeling more secure and can't wait for a hurricane to try them out!!

The kit was very well made with quality materials, the instructions and videos were excellent making initial setup easy. The price was a little step but what price can you put on the safety of your family and for your peace of mind? Excellent product!

The product on its surface seems quality. Assembly was a pain and required a lot of attention to detail. I had to reference the on line manual (pain) and online videos (pain). Over app seems like a decent product.

Brace Kit was received very quickly, and assembled and installed, and Tested with no problems. Hopefully I will not have to use it. Thank you for good service and a quality product.

Great Product - Easy to install, I changed out the 1/4-20 cross bolts with the heavy duty hitch pins for quick installs and take downs, 2 min to set up and 1 min to take down.

The bracket is easy to set, if following instructions, and it is very sturdy. Just passed my 4 points and wind mitigation inspections, and now talking with the insurance.

So easy to install and to remove and store. Have used three times with storm coming in area. They make the door So solid. Would advise everyone to get them.

Living in Baja Sur Mexico on the Sea of Cortez these are necessary to protect our roll up garage doors. Great design, easy to install and store. Great job!

Bought these before last season. Installed them in just a couple of slow easy hours. Therefore, no 5 stars yet. I'll try to review after first storm.
