I am very thankful for this product! Not only was it at a better price than most, but it’s versatility and ease of use is awesome. A lot of allulose sweeteners are not 1:1 sweetness to sugar like this one is. I love the addition of monk fruit & stevia but I don’t have any aftertaste or weirdness at all. I have used this in coffee, cookies, pancakes, brownies, and whatever else I want to add a little sweetness to. I have had a hard time using erythritol or stevia I’m just about anything. It all seems to taste funny and was different from batch to batch. I needed something consistently sweet with no aftertaste or upset tummies. Everyone who has had my keto baked goods wouldn’t have known it was keto if I didn’t tell them!
And If anyone tells you it upset their stomach because of a study that rats died with allulose, just shake your head. People like to post stuff and not actually calculate out the numbers that they give (I saw a review like this on another allulose product). Just FYI, if they would have given me the equivalent amount of allulose as they did the rat, I would have had between 200-300 servings in one dosage (I’m about 150lbs). That’s 2-3lbs of sugar. I wouldn’t expect me to live more than 48 hours if someone pumped my body with 3lbs of sugar... I know I wouldn’t survive if they pumped 3lbs of vitamin C in me, but does that make vitamin C unsafe and horrible for you?
