I love the shape, size, texture, and taste of the Franz Keto buns. I bought them because I discovered that the buns made by Aldi, which were as good but much less expensive, are a seasonal item. Who knows if they will make them this simmering? Although do hope they make them again, I won't fret that much but I will just continue to buy the Franz Keto Buns. By the way, Franz buns toast beautifully and can be used to make sandwiches, which I do quite regularly. I'm glad these buns are available on Amazon. I'm getting ready to order my next 2 packages. The buns were packed well (rather snuggly, which is good) in a strong cardboard box that resisted any damage. I should also mention something very important: an individual bun has 15 grams of fiber or 54% of what are daily intake should be. It's this fiber that lowers the carb count. If you have 2 of these a day, you'll meet your extremely important fiber intake, and you will only be consuming a mere 100 calories. This is very important for me because the doctor put me on a low calorie diet, which is working really well. Thanks for reading this review and I wish you the best of health.

For someone who loves hamburgers and the occasional sausage or hot dog, these buns are a life saver. They have a slightly different texture than non Keto buns I've eaten, and I learned the hard way that they're better if you nuke them for a second rather than toasting them, but all in all, they are pretty good. I use mayo and mustard on them with whatever meat I'm eating on them and there is nothing negative I can say about the taste. One day I drove through a fast food burger place and threw away the bun... That was before I knew about these Franz buns. Now I have a keto-friendly bun to replace theirs with! That's exciting for someone who's working as hard as I am to change old bad eating habits. These buns are pretty expensive, so I want to not waste any. For that reason I keep them in the freezer. When I want to use one, I take it out and put it in an open storage bag for a few minutes, then I nuke it for a few seconds. I found that's the perfect way to thaw them without them getting hard (just sitting out in the air makes them hard),

Best "zero carb" bread I've found. It's expensive, but all the keto stuff is overpriced. Don't expect it to taste like regular bread, but it's closer to the taste than any others I've tried, the texture is perfect and it toasts well. It lasts a lot longer after opening (or defrosting) that real bread. That may be worrisome, because it indicates a lot of preservatives, but I've had no ill effects. And it is zero carbs or close to it, because counting 2 slices as 1 carb doesn't put me over my 19 carb daily limit.

If you are on keto you have to try these. They taste fine as is, I like to spread them with a bit of butter, and broil them a bit. They don't work as well in the toaster as the whole bun gets kind of hard, but if you broil just the top they are SO GOOD! Also, they freeze really well, just take them out a few minutes before you want to use them. I like to keep some frozen ones on hand for times when I run out and they don't have them available for purchase, or they won' get here fast enough.

This is a good product and well this vendor selling them via Amazon is charging double + the cost. Walmart in general is about $5.60 for 8 buns so to match this offer of 16 buns you would pay $11.20 vs $27.50 here. Yes, Walmart of course can do it for much less as a large vendor, but this is just way too much especially if you have never had them and wanted to try them first. Yes, you can refrigerate to add longer shelf life. We have never tried freezing them.

The buns are great. The problem I have is that they are charging $28 or 2 packs. I buy these in a local grocery store for $5 a package. They also sell them for that price on the Walmart website. Yes we expect people to make a profit, but 300% of the normal cost seems pretty excessive. I suggest you try them, but not at $14 a bag. Not sure why Amazon allows this. Buyer beware I guess.

I am a recently diagnosed diabetic and was told to lower my carb intake. As someone who loves burgers and sandwiches it was miserable. I saw these and decided to try them out. OMG! You cannot tell the difference. And instead of getting 40-60carbs with regular buns- which as a diabetic I cannot have; these buns are 16carbs. I will definitely be purchasing in the future.

I spread a bit of butter flavored coconut oil across the top of each bun, and laid them crust side down on a baking sheet in a 450° oven for just a few minutes, before making our sloppy Joe burgers for dinner, and they were a huge hit! Every plate was scraped clean and no one guessed they were eating ‘keto clean’ throughout the process, I’d call that a win win!

My husband is diabetic and really missed having a burger patty on a bun. Bought these on a whim…even though they are pricy. They are great, flavorful, tender, and make a delicious hamburger. We wrap, seal in freezer bags, and thaw on the counter. They thaw out perfectly and as fresh as the day they arrived. We will continue to order these.

Id give this 5 stars if it was just 10% bigger. If the creators read this, you consider making jumbo buns? These things are so small I eat 2 hamburgers instead of 1 and the patty is stuck around the edges. It would be really cool if there was a jumbo option so I can make double cheeseburgers :) can i haz bigger bunz 4 double cheezburger plz?

I eat burgers on a low-carb diet (chicken gets old sometimes), and being able to eat them with a bun instead of lettuce is nice. They are not terribly tasty or fresh, but I grill them for a few minutes long with the burgers. Does the trick for me. Expensive as all get out - I freeze them until I need one so they don't spoil.

I do Keto and I got tired of missing the bun for my burgers while watching my boyfriend devour his own. This puts me on an even playing field! The buns are smallish but they are good and they hold everything in without falling apart. If you are on a low carb diet, I would say try these!

I took advice of another reviewer and wrapped each bun individually upon receipt. Straight in freezer. First time I tried toasted.. really tough. Second time I defrosted to room temp. Ate like normal with no heat and it was much better! Really good and I'll buy more.

These buns taste like regular hamburger buns. They are a little small, ut that is to be expected when they are so low in calories. I bought them on sale. They are a little out of my price range normally (for what they are), but I am glad I tried them.

These just taste like regular buns. I love being able to eat bread on keto! I keep these in the freezer and thaw them in the oven when I want to use them. They are a bit spendy, but they’re the best keto buns by a mile. Absolutely worth it.
