I'm telling you now that this product might be the best you can get without using real brown sugar. It bakes similarly to brown sugar and tastes pretty close. If you taste it raw, you'll DEFINITELY know it's a fake, but used in dishes that call for brown sugar, it acts and tastes a lot like the real thing. Just make sure if you DO use it for baked goods that you use any recipe that accounts for how stevia or artificial sweeteners work in the dish because there often IS a very different chemical reaction or flavor profile that is created when using the fake stuff. I almost hate to give this a 4, but considering it's trying to be something else and still isnt a perfect replacement, I think 4 is adequate, although believe me, there isn't a better alternative on the market.

Thank you, Denmark! Sukrin gold looks like real brown sugar, smells like real brown sugar, and tastes as close to real brown sugar as you can possibly get. I used this in a BBQ sauce recipe and it tasted great. Pricier than real brown sugar? Yes, but it's worth it. Those doing Keto should note that Sukrin gold has 8 g of carbs per two teaspoons (that's 24 g per tablespoon). However, when used in my BBQ recipe, those carbs were sufficiently diluted so that my baby back ribs didn't throw me out of keto. Sukrin gold is erythritol with less than 2% of tagatose (yes, a sugar),glycerin, malt extract and steviol glycosides. If I used Sukrin gold in keto-friendly cinnamon buns, I would use too much & throw myself out of nutritional ketosis. So, beware.

I like the flavor Sukrin Gold offers better than any other sugar alternative I've tried (stevia, splenda, swerve, monk fruit). Since beginning a cleanse, I've eliminated my sugar intake and have missed my morning cup of hot tea. Sukrin Gold has allowed me to enjoy my hot tea again! The flavor is good and probably half as sweet as sugar. It's a blend of several sweeteners, including erythritol, so there is a slight cooling effect in the mouth that is far more acceptable in my opinion than using swerve alone. Sukrin Gold is my choice. Any alternative is costly. I may not bake with it often, but I will continue to use SG in my tea a few times a week.

I bought this with the skepticism, I figured it would be one more sugar substitute that had that awful after taste. I HATE artificial sweetener, but have heard a lot about this so thought I would give it a try anyways. WOW, honestly, no aftertaste, it is delicious! There has only been 1 thing so far that it kinda had an odd flavor with, but I think it was more due to flavor clashing than an issue with the sweetener, I often sprinkle it on bacon, but it works great for just about anything that uses brown sugar (Awesome for lessening the sugar content in many asian dishes!) I can not speak highly enough about this stuff!

I've been on a low carb diet for 30 months. Going sugar free was a game changer for me. I had to find other means to cook the foods I like but without the carbs. The Sukrin Gold is a wonderful substitute for brown sugar. In fact, everyone in the house now uses it when they need brown sugar at the table. I have created a grain free, sugar free chocolate chip cookie that uses the Sukrin Gold that does not taste sugar free, yet only has 2 net grams of carbohydrates per cookie. I love it and order it regularly in my subscriptions.

If everything they say about the nutritional/health aspects is correct, this is a home run. Sukrin has the look and texture of brown sugar and the taste, if not identical to sugar, is close enough not to matter. With zero net calories and none of the downsides of empty sugar calories, this is a total winner. I have been using it in coffee and in baking (muffins), and it is indistinguishable from the real thing. It's expensive, but it is totally worth it if you need to cut back on sugar.

One of many low carb sweeteners that I have tried. Only one that is worth using! Tastes, looks and feels like legit brown sugar! Very little chemical taste when used in my bulletproof coffee, unlike those sweet leaf drops, that have an overwhelming chemical taste to me. Will never bother with other sweeteners again and will only buy surkin! Highly recommend and looking forward to trying other products!

This Sukrin gold brown sugar is so good. You truly do not miss regular brown sugar. It gives you all the sweetness and taste of normal brown sugar. This really helps me when I am on the keto diet to keep my cravings of sugar down because I am not missing anything. I definitely recommend this to anyone. No weird aftertaste I have been putting it in my coffee.

I mixed a few table spoons with cinnamon and sprinkled on my sweet potato casserole along with a little butter for Thanksgiving. It came out great with a lot less calories and sugar than traditional sweet potato casserole. I plan on using half with brown sugar for cookies, cakes, etc. during the holidays. Great product.

I have used Sukrin gold in cookie recipes--different recipes, very different kinds of cookies--and served my cookies to lots of people. Everyone has enjoyed the goodies and no one has ever said, "Oh, are these some kind of diet cookie?" You never have to admit that you are using a sugar alternative! Love this stuff!

This product taste true to the real thing and it measures the same. Other brands still have sugar or nasty chemicals in them, but not this product. It contains no sugar and tastes great. I highly recommend this. Seller shipped out quick, so I can give the seller a thumbs up as well.

This product was superb in a pumpkin pie custard recipe, specifically the baking time was exactly the same as with sugar, there was no "funny" aftertaste nor was there a change to the taste of the spices and pumpkin. I give this product my strongest positive endorsement!

Very pleased with the Sukrin Gold all natural brown sugar alternative - Used it tonight making an apple pancake and even my husband said - taste was the same - I found using sugar was sometimes too sweet so Sukrin Gold had a pleasant taste and I will use again - Sue

Reordered and got a package 1/2 the size of my last order and for at least as much money, if not more. Of course, this is common and especially so with low carb and sugar free products. But if you can afford it, it’s gotta be so much better for overall health

This is the best brown sugar substitute I've tried by far. It is very expensive. But it is worth it. Even plain, not baked, it tastes like the real thing with only a little aftertaste. I love it on my hot breakfast cereal as it melts just like the real thing.
