I am a type 2 diabetic, and was fooled by another company claiming they had low carb pasta. I didn't find out until I was eating their product and my numbers (diabetic numbers calculating carbs and sugar) went through the roof! I was devistated. This pasta, takes a little getting used to. It is not slippery like regular pasta, it has texture, not a problem. I seem to have to cook it longer for "al dente" maybe 10-12 min. I test it to see it's doneness. I have used it to make alfredo, fresh pasta sauce, it really holds up. I love it!!! I am Italian, and life without pasta just has no meaning. Diabetics need products such as these to feel we are still part of the eating society. If you are trying to control Diabetes by diet and exercise, no meds, it is imperitive to have these wonderful products to choose from. People are so busy trying to get us down to lower our numbers, some of us just cannot achieve, they should be more interested in making products we can enjoy, not trying to get us to pop a pill to get "their" numbers!!! We all can't get to or maintain the number of the month. Everyone is different, we all can't be under the same numbers, people are going to get sicker trying to do the right thing. But products as these, makes being a diabetic that much easier to deal with!!! Leona

I love pasta. No lie. I'm also restricted in my carbs due to Type 2 diabetes and am currently not on medication. I'm allowed 2 carb servings (30g, and my doctor says net grams are bs) per meal. Obviously, I have to play a balancing act that typically causes me to cry every day. I cannot stand zucchini or squashes (so no veggie noodles) due to a genetic taste issue (weird but true) that affects the flavors of almost all food for me. Tonight I weighed a 1 oz serving to go with a low carb chicken parmesian recipe that uses carbquik. That's a half serving of these noodles and plenty for me. My meal with these noodles was around 25g of carbs (this includes my veggie sides as well). My before reading was 112, after at 2h 121, and 1.5h after that 120. It is a slow come down but I'm satisfied with these readings. They also taste really good, though I was able to detect cornstarch and soy flavors. If you are diabetic, I would suggest to either a) make the full serving your main meal with plenty of protein and veggies in there or b) stick to the half serving like I did. Even at their normal, non net carb value, you'll be hard pressed to find a product that comes close to a pasta flavor and still could get fit into the diet. I'm giving these a 5 star review because of my reasons described above.

This isn’t gluten free FYI Some of the negative reviews on here are about the fact that it isn't really keto or low carb. Here is the thing........I miss pasta, I miss it alot and everything else I've tried to date has fallen flat. Will I eat this every day? No. This is 16 net carbs per portion vs. regular pasta at 50 grams carbs plus per serving so depending on how many net carbs you want to consume per day on keto you can add this in. For me when I'm trying to lose weight I eat 20 net carbs or less so this isn't something I would regularly consume. But on a Friday night after a long week and I just want a little comfort food would I choose this as a cheat rather than totally going off the rails with regular pasta absolutely. If you are on mainetnence this is a good option to rotate in. A few points: I cooked this several minutes longer than 3 minutes for me - probably more like 5 or 6 I think this tasted better on day 2. I made beef stroganoff with it and it was good last night but I put the left overs in a bowl covered in my sauce and just reheated and it is really tasty and better today. Buy this with confidence that it's gonna likely be the best LOWER carb pasta you'll find! The price is worth it to me to keep my lower carb way of eating long term.

Yes, this is literally 10X the price of regular pasta. It is also not carb-free. It is, however, a great option for those limiting or just watching their carb intake. A serving of regular pasta has 41g carbs (some up to 70g!!), while this has 24g per serving. Being Italian there's no way I am eating just one serving of pasta, so I dropped half the bag into boiling water to see what happened. In under 5 minutes the noodles were perfectly al dente. They were also very filling--I ate half of what I had cooked which is pretty darn close to the serving size stated on the package. With sauce, is almost no difference between this and regular pasta. It was satisfying and I can definitely see working this into my reduced-carb diet. If you are looking something with nearly HALF the carbs of regular pasta that tastes just as good and is a versatile noodle (would be good for soups, stroganoff, etc.) I would not hesitate to try this. Because it is pricey, I recommend buying a single bag first before buying in bulk as is also offered here on AMZ. Hope this helps!

This pasta tasted just like the real thing, if not even better. I didn't notice a difference in taste, texture or consistency at all when compared to standard pasta. What can I say? After I tried it, i went back and bought 6 more packets. Best purchasing decision I've ever made. During shipping, it can become a little broken up, but that is to be expected, and it makes to difference to the over all taste or appearance when cooked. Having this is a fantastic substitute for pasta, and I don't even miss the real thing one bit. It is nothing like the other "low carb" pastas which taste off and aren't really that low in carbs. It pairs well with anything you would usually pair pasta with, my personal favorite being bacon and chicken Alfredo. I only regret that this magical food was not in my life sooner. For me, there is enough pasta in one packet to give you 4 (full plate) meals. And I suppose 8 meals if it is used as a side dish.

Well, I had these awhile when my 26 year old grandson had come over for movie night, and asked if I had anything with which I could make a homemade soup? He was really wanting homemade soup. Ok....I had one frozen chicken breast which I dropped into some chicken broth. I chopped up celery and onion, then finally found some frozen peas and carrots, added some seasonings along with a dried bay leaf. When the chicken was done, I took it out, let it cool and cut it up. I then open the Carb-Nada egg Fettuccine Pasta, breaking it in order to fit better in the spoon. When the noodles were al dente, I returned the cut up chicken to the pot. II was so afraid I had put together the worst soup in history, but my grandson ate two big bowls, then asked if he could take the rest home! I was so glad I had it on hand, and I'm ordering more for those emergency homemade soups. HA!

I like these, this is just perfect for me. I usually make our own pasta homemade which would be the one thing I know I will miss more of a low carb diet, so I started looking for a better alternative (if there was one) for a little cheat (without cheating all that badly). As I searching for a doable menu and what other things I should keep in stock, I ran across these. After trying them this will definately be in my stash. These truly arent bad at all I really was surprised, I had made shrimp scampi this evening (as that is my "go to" cheat meal) and Carba Nada low carb egg fettuccine will fit in perfect for something like that. I am really happy this purchase, I come back to throw a few more in my cart review as I had a moment to.

...and these taste like the real thing to me. Taste, texture - it's egg noodles! They remind me of homemade noodles my grandma would make - thicker and chewier. I'm known for my homemade soups, and shirataki tofu noodle's texture doesn't do it for me. I went looking for an alternative, and found these. They're seriously amazing! The only thing is, the directions baffle me. They adamantly say - cook for only 3 minutes, do. not. overcook. Well, after 3 minutes, I found the noodles to be way too al dente. I cooked them for 8 minutes before they were just right for me. And, I'm super happy to report that leftovers are Not soggy. It's spendy, but flippin' worth it for lo-carb folks who really love pasta. I'm buying more!

I bought these noodles after much debate due to the price and trying other kinds of low-cal/low-carb pasta options. The price is what cost them an entire star. I have to say, these are shockingly delicious!! The package says to cook these for only 3 minutes, but at the 4 minute mark they were still very much uncooked; I ended up cooking them for approx. 13 minutes (maybe longer). The texture was almost identical to regular pasta; these noodles were actually just a bit thicker! I would highly recommend these to anyone on a weight-loss plan (WW anyone??) or looking for alternatives to the typical pasta. I rarely review things but I felt it was important to share my experience with others. Buy these noodles!!!

I was definitely hesitant when I purchased the Carba-Nada Low Carb Egg Fettuccine Pasta. It's not even that I'm a pasta lover, but sometimes, it just fills the void. I went ahead and added this to my order as an Add On item for $7. Packaging - arrived just as pictured, there are no surprises there. There was also no broken noodles. Flavor - I thought they were great and even better was that my husband liked them! He is a total pasta guy! I was surprised to see him eat an entire bowl of them! Cost - $7 for one bag is high when you consider a package of 6 through Subscribe and Save is only $16.55 Here is the link to that item so you can buy in bulk and definitely save money right here at Amazon!

These noodles are the best low carb noodles I have come across. The texture is just like regular noodles. Not crunchy or robbery. They don't really have a taste, but what plain noodle does? I will say these are LOW CARB NOT KETO. There are people on here complaining about these still having carbs. They definitely need to chill and have a piece of toast or something. It doesn't state anywhere on the package that its keto friendly. However, they are great for low carb because it is much lower in carbs than regular pasta. I'm not in love with the price (even though it's lower than most) and the quantity could be more, but other than that. A great buy!

Let me tell you folks -- several years ago we tried the Dreamfield pasta and also the spinach. I never bought diet kind of pasta again until I found out I had diabetes a few months ago. Had to revamp my cupboard with foods to help my problem, so I ordered this pasta from amazon.com. You would be as amazed as we were: 1) the first time I was questioning cooking al dente following the instructions, but 2) cooking just beyond al dente a bit made all the difference in the world and this pasta tasted as good as Ronzoni or any other pasta. I will bring this name with me to my next diabetes class in August to share with all the other folks.

Wow! These don't spike me at all. That said, I do usually a 1 oz serving (which is quite small, measured dry) as opposed to the 2 oz suggested serving, but still, that's more pasta than I've ever been able to have before since becoming diabetic. I'm not sure how they do it, or what's in these, but the taste is perfect. I sincerely can't tell the difference. Perfect taste, perfect texture, and paired with a pesto sauce and a bit of fish, a wonderful, filling meal. I'm so glad I took the plunge on these. Maybe I will venture into trying a 2 oz portion, but for now, I'm satisfied, so why rock the boat!

All three of the other flavors (basil, garlic, egg) taste better than this one, but for a low carb, high protein pasta this is still delicious. I don't really understand people complaining that this has too many carbohydrates. This has 24 carbs minus 6 grams of fiber for 18 net carbs per serving. The entire bag has 90 net carbs. I don't see the problem. Furthermore, this has 12 grams of protein per serving. The texture if you cook it exactly for 5 minutes (as per the instructions) is al dente. Please, please make the garlic and basil available for the subscribe and save pack of 6.

Mommyonamission

okay so this is labeled as 24 carbs and 7 grams of fiber or 17 net grams carbs per serving (5 servings a bag) which, is good for low carb not keto. EXCEPT I used these for chicken noodle soup, using 1/2 a bag in am entire pot of soup that will yield 10 servings of awesomeness. we get a full bowl of soup per serving. even if we used these for chicken alfredo, we believe we would get 8 servings of pasta per bag, not 5. btw we do OMAD several days a week so this is perfect to get the cheat meal feel, without getting knocked out of ketosis.
