I don't have a problem with soy or gluten, so I am not opposed to products with either, but having another form of vegan protein provides additional flexibility in my diet. These crumbles are fantastic, quick and easy to prepare (requiring only hot or warm water to reconstitute), with an enviable nutrition profile. Yes, the sodium levels appear high, however, the amount is for one cup dry crumbles, which is nearly doubled when rehydrated, and only about 20% of the DV for a low-sodium diet with a 1500mg upper limit...if you can eat the entire serving in one sitting. Perhaps the best thing about them is their ability to retain structural integrity (the crumbles don't form mush or turn to paste) when prepared according to package directions, and their ability to take on the flavour profile of whatever seasonings you use. For those looking to reduce consumption of animal products, this can help in a number of dishes, creating a nearly imperceptible stand-in for ground poultry or pork, and even beef when powdered mushrooms are mixed with the crumbles. For those already abiding by a vegetarian, vegan, or plant-based lifestyle, or those for whom the goal is not to mimic meat, you'll appreciate the versatility this product adds to your repertoire and the ease of preparation. For athletes, especially, you'll benefit from a protein source that adds protein and bulk to your meals without unnecessary cholesterol impacting your overall health.

I'm having a lot of trouble with taste and smell for a little bit now. I literally cannot tolerate the taste of poultry, most red meat, fish, or eggs. I ran across this product while looking for alternative protein sources and although I wouldn't say this tastes like the ground beef I used to know and love, this was perfectly tolerable and did not have any bizarre strong taste (not even that grassy bean or pea taste a lot of gluten free bean flours have). The texture was really good - this really does resemble the texture of medium-coarse ground beef. IMPORTANT: I do not believe this product is mostly intended to be consumed 'as-is'. I let it soak in a makeshift homemade Chinese food brown sauce (soy sauce, water, rice vinegar, sesame seed oil, tiny pinch of brown sugar, cayenne, mustard powder, ginger, paprika, black pepper, all-spice, salt) and thought this was pretty good and did sort of remind me of the taste of beef between these flavors. I haven't tried it in spagetti sauce yet, but expect my best results will be to flavor the meat as described above, deain it, then add to my sauce right before eating my portion. (Sorry, I know this sounds crazy - it has been a LONG year with taste issues, lol)

I have been vegan for over 30 years and this is an excellent replacement for ground meat. I also love the fact that you reconstitute it in minutes and you are ready to go. I have loved making some pasta and while it is cooking add the water or soy sauce to the crumbles. Once the pasta is done I add a bit of spaghetti sauce and the crumbles and you have a meal ready in the time it took to boil the pasta. It has a chewy texture so it has a good mouth feel. I can't wait to make a pot of chili. (PS I am a chef graduate of the Natural Gourmet Cookery school even though it is closed now.)

Wow! Finally! We just LOVE this plant based food! What a Super Surprise! My mother thought she was eating beef, (lol), as the texture is quite matching! We made (non-beef)beef Tacos and my teen kids just LOVED it! They laughed, saying they couldn’t tell this was made out of peas and not beef! Of course, preparing/cooking with a sauce added, made this more possible. I’m relieved to have such a tasty vegetarian alternative and be excited to have “beef” for dinner and not miss the meat.👏🏼😅

Absolutely love these! Instead of water I use vegetable broth and add my favorite spices & herbs during the mixing. I also do the extra step of browning in olive oil. Just adds a little extra depth of flavor. Would be great to add taco seasoning for Taco Night or chili seasoning for an all veggie chili. They have a nice chew to them so you do feel like you’re eating meat. I also love that they are made from ONE ingredient. Most plant based meats are just too highly processed for me. Try these!!!

I’m in love 💕 These pea protein crumbles are just the texture I’ve been looking for. All of the others turn rubbery as they cool and, since (because of some health issues) it takes me at least 2 hrs to eat a meal, that’s super important to me. Everyone in my house loved the chili and had no clue there was no meat in it! I also threw it into some seasoned rice and stuffed peppers with the mixture and my foodie son loved them.

I've used this product for many recipe's that require meat. The best one is taco's, where even my meat eating friends love it and can't tell it's not hamburger. The other benefit, backpacking! I've been looking for something that is high in protein, but light enough to take backpacking. It's a perfect addition to my hydrated meals (add meatless crumbles + water = awesome meal in the wilderness).

I really enjoyed your meatless crumbles. I love that is very adaptable to any dish that requires meat. I have been on a meatless diet for sometime now and appreciate that your product does not contain wheat or soy. It is not easy to find products that are gluten free and soy free. Yours fit the bill. I tried it in a vegetable fried rice dish I made and it was simple delicious. Thanks

I love this product! Prior to discovering Meatless Soy free crumbles fish and beans were my primary proteins but now Italian, Mexican and even American favorites like sloppy Joe's and beefy (less) noodles. The taste is completely neutral so one can season to whatever taste you're craving and no one will know that they are eating a healthy alternative but the cook!

This is excellent vegetarian product to replace ground meat. It’s taste is subtle and easily seasoned to whatever recipe you have. The texture is amazing, feels like there is substance to it and it needs to be chewed which adds to the satisfaction. I am a meat eater and bought this for my vegetarian daughter and can say I love it. Try it out, highly recommend!

Super high in protein! I used the crumbles as a bolognese with edamame spaghetti. Im vegan and count macros. It's difficult a lot of times to meal prep and meet my protein needs. I actually went over my protein macros for the day with this recipe. That never happens! The crumbles are delicious and a great way to add protein to your diet.

What I really like is that the vegetable protein will take on the taste of whatever spices you choose to add. What i really love is that there is no aftertaste like many meat substitutes. The fact that you don't have to refrigerate it is a big help when it comes to storage. The texture is spot on! Also NO GLUTEN and NO SOY.

I love these because they are shelf-stable and once re-hydrated have the texture of a ground chicken or turkey. They don't really have a taste, so you can make them taste however you'd like. A little goes a long way, too. It's just pea protein without a lot of weird additives and it's very high in protein.

I have been trying to replicate a recipe I had when I ate meat - Bob's Big Boy Spaghetti Chili. I made the chili today using this product and it is totally perfect for items like chili. It absorbed the sauce I made and has the consistency of ground meat in a chili. Try it. I am so glad I did.

Made tacos for dinner with this and I can say with confidence that is the exact same as one the brand as longeve!! Exact same texture exact same ingredient may be a little more protein than the longeve. Overall I will definitely be purchasing this one again. My kids loved it to!!
