I love this product. It's so versatile, so delicious. But if you buy it, keep in mind that this is one of those things that will taste based on how you season or marinade it. I've been vegan for many years now, but I used to be a meat eater before, so I marinate/season this TVP the same way I did with chicken/beef.

This is by far my favorite TVP! I rehydrate it in veggie broth and then season with onion and garlic powder, sauté in a non-stick pan and voila! Perfect texture and chew. Delicious every time!

I use this a lot to make various vegan dishes. I have Celiac's so I like that it's an gluten free option as I can't do many plant based "meat" products. Some of my favorite things to do is make Thanksliving "turkey" medallions with holiday seasonings in water used to reconstitute them or seasoning them up to make Rubens. They work really really well!

My friend made a dish I asked her “where did she get the meat from” she told me “from Amazon.” She showed me the one she purchased it was another brand I started to see other brands that was less expensive and more for your money after reading some reviews I decided to try this brand. I ordered this yesterday and it came 5am this morning. I followed the direction on rehydrating it and it turned out perfectly. I rehydrated it with some vegan chicken seasoning then sautéed it in a little olive oil vegetables then added some sweet and sour sauce and it came out fantastic. The texture is good although it has a somewhat little bean taste but overall I like it and will be buying again.

My first attempt at making a General Tso vegetarian dish was fun and tasted great. Though I normally make my own sauces, I used the simply organic simmer sauce to keep it simple and less $$. After soaking 4 oz of the chips as directed, I tossed them in a nonstick pan with a little oil for browning, poured in half a pouch of sauce and served rice w/toasted sesame oil, broccoli, and walnuts. Delicious! I'd much prefer a compressed nugget shape for a firm chew, but knowing this brand is hexane-free is a relief.

I love the texture of this. Add some liquid aminos for an A+ vegan chicken experience.

This TVP is amazing. I’m sorry it took to so long to find it. I use it for all things chicken. Just today I made chicken pot pie. So delicious. Just Like Chicken is easy to reconstitute, flavor, cook, and eat in a short time. Great texture. I’ll buy again without question. Thanks for an easy to use tasty protein alternative.

Wayyyyy better then I thought it would be. Doesn't taste exactly like chicken, it taste more like chicken skin. Which is pretty good, cook it in the pan with water like directions say, an then after that I recommend putting it in a frying pan with a little bit of oil till you get it crispy. It's very good like I could eat this every night an be satisfied. I'm excited to try all the other flavors they have to offer

Here's how I prep them- 80 g tvp 240 g (1 cup) water 2 bullion cubes 1/4 tsp msg (can probably sub out with soy sauce or something) onion powder garlic powder Microwave the above in a bowl for 4-5 minutes. Heat up skillet with oil and cook until browned on both sides. SO delicious and versatile! Serves 3-2 people. I microwave extra and store it in the fridge for up to a few days, then pan fry it right before serving. I usually have it with broccoli, sometimes with general tsao sauce, also had it a couple times with bbq sauce in a sandwich. Adjust the sodium you add in the first step if you plan on adding sauce.

The plainness is perfect to allow you to create whatever flavor profile you need for your dish. Very easy to prep, blends into a range of dishes. The only thing is that it ends up a bit on the chewy side, but compared to many other alternatives, it’s a good option.
