My first attempt at making a General Tso vegetarian dish was fun and tasted great. Though I normally make my own sauces, I used the simply organic simmer sauce to keep it simple and less $$.
After soaking 4 oz of the chips as directed, I tossed them in a nonstick pan with a little oil for browning, poured in half a pouch of sauce and served rice w/toasted sesame oil, broccoli, and walnuts. Delicious!
I'd much prefer a compressed nugget shape for a firm chew, but knowing this brand is hexane-free is a relief.
