I have really oily skin, and I was really nervous about using such a heavy face oil as my skin can get quite suffocated with such a product. I unfortunately ended up being correct as my skin could not handle so many heavy oils on my skin. That is not to say this product is particularly bad so much as it is not for my skin type. I think this product would be great for non-sensitive dry skin types as this product does have fragrance so sensitive skin types should be mindful of that. As a beauty lover, I have already tried a few elixir face oils. This Melach 33 Rimmon Elixir Face Oil can be used either by itself as a last step in the skincare routine or mixed with a moisturizer. I'm a cosmetologist of 18 years, specializing in healthy skin and haircare so I'm always excited to try new products that are plant derived and proves to be sensitive skin approved. This face oil combines: pomegranate seed, grapeseed, sweet almond, almond and vitamin e oils -- together they have omegas 3, 5, 6, and 9 -- they'll brighten, clarify, firm skin and protect against uv damage. The texture is rich, but lightweight and absorbs well. It claims to be comedogenic using oils closest to the skins natural oils so this can be true. Because of it's scent, I can't wear it alone. I don't like anything fragrant on my face, I don't find it to be necessary. I like the ingredients of the oil so I've paired it with a night time moisturizer for that extra hydration and moisture. I'll also apply it to my decolletage and shoulders after a shower- it gives a nice glow. I haven't had any breakouts which is nice.
