I was skeptical but it does work. My 2000 Tahoe developed a lifter tick that was getting worse. After running this stuff it cleaned out my sticky lifter. No leaks, but it is stinky stuff when you drain it out.

Had an engine sitting for 15 years. After a few Starts, we decided to add a can of ERP and it cleaned out the engine. We could see all the old stuff come out.

I used this in the fall to clean my VW Tiguan Wolfsburg TFSI 4Motion engine. I was having noises and excessive oil consumption the past two years. This is a great product and after 3000 kms in Canadian fall/winter it did the trick. Less noise and much improved oil consumption. I recommend buying the pack of 4; great value! When flushing the engine do it right. On these TFSI engines you need to change oil every 5000 kms to avoid carbon particles damaging your engine. My car just turned 100,000 kms so going forward i plan to flush every year in the late fall as a winter prep. Also check your spark plugs. I flush the old oil first but kept the oil filter. Then I put cheaper conventional oil (not synthetic) and added ERP to that., ran for 15 min at high idle per recommendations. You can really see the engine cleaning performed from the oil colour. Do this during daytime. Then I flushed this oil out and replaced the oil filter. Finally filled with synthetic oil 5W40 Euro. The car never sounded better. I also recommend checking PCV valve at 100,000 kms or sooner. It will avoid major engine problems and of course unnecessary oil consumption.

Change oil ever 4k full syn on all of our vehicles for the last 20 years or so. Main trailblazer vehicle we owned went over 400k and ran great when sold last Jan. Even still, after I first started using around 2019, lots of yuk comes out after completing. Can feel a noticeable difference in acceleration and performance. Somewhat pricey, but worth it to me experiencing the results.

It works very well. Add to your dirty oil, run at 15-2000 rpm in park for 8-10 min. No need to drive. Let engine cool and drain it. You smell that? That’s the gunk and the funk that was in your engine. Refill with oil and change that filter with a quality filter. I drive a F150 4x4 loaded down w tools. It went from 12.7 avg to 15mpg.

Been using them for quite awhile. Cleans better than others. Had to use engine cleaners and frequent oil changes after rings stuck and engine oil burned to a minimum at 185,000 miles. Now at 236,000 miles. Gotta check that oil and keep it topped off in these old cars, the lower the oil level the faster it burns. Lifetime engine warranty from hinda dealership (fidelity) excludes damage from lack of fluid....gotta stay on top of it until it burns too much but so far it just keeps going at 1 quart per 2,700 miles.

One of the few "mechanic in a bottle" that can actually help. Even fresh oil will come out dark with this added to it which confirms EPR can break down deposits in the crankcase.

I am not one to use oil additives, nor do I believe advertising hype that defies the laws and physics and chemistry. Watched several trusted YouTube videos in which this product seemed to work. I tried it in my 2006 Highlander with 193,000 miles which has seen 5K oil changes since new. The car will burn a quart or less in 5,000 miles if you run it hard--70-80 mph. I added a can to the oil and ran it for 15 minutes after a one mile gentle drive. The first think I noticed upon oil drain is the oil was black and gritty, which is abnormal for this engine. The particulate in the oil appeared to be gritty carbon. I refilled the crankcase with good oil and changed the filter. I didn't think it could run any smoother, but it does. The oil level has not moved in three weeks. This is not unusual because it has not been driven hard. For this SUV with a 2.4, 80 mph is near it's maximum. Time will tell, but so far, the oil is clean and the engine is very smooth, both at idle and under load. My opinion is there is only one place in the oil system that accumulates carbonized oil, and that is between the oil rings and in the ring grooves. There is no other place in the engine that receives that much heat and blow-by. The suspended material was considerable. These engines tend to be sensitive about oil coking in the oil rings, and this product definitely goes to work on it. Update: I used this treatment on my other two vehicles. My 2003 4cyl with 120K miles has been smoking on cold start for 15 years. The cold-start smoking has stopped and not returned in 6 months. My 2017 Tacoma did not show any significant darkening of the oil and there were no changes at 85,000 miles.

We have done one treatment of the EPR so far on our 2012 GMC Terrain and I'm impressed. With the EPR added, I ran the engine for 25 minutes at 1200 rpm. Drained the blackest, thinnest oil ever. With fresh oil and filter, we are now over 1200 miles and the oil level on the stupid wire thing they call a dip stick hasn't moved yet! It would have been almost a quart low by now. I will update this review as the miles progress. But wow what a start!

I love this stuff, used it on my c5 vette just turned 95k and wanted to do more than just oil change. Ok changed oil , drove almost 2 weeks on oil , oil didn't change color, I mean clear like first oil change. Engine runs smoother. I would recommend this to everyone I know.

Take your car for a spin before you add BG to heat up your engine. BG is heat activated in your oil. I ran the BG for a half hour in my vehicle. Ran the RPMs up to about 1000 for 25 minutes. Every five minutes I would Rev it up to 2000 3000 RPMs and then let it go back to 1000 RPMs. At 25 minutes I let the car idle normal to filter out the clumps if there were any. BG says to run the chemical in the oil for a minimum of 10 minutes at 1200 RPMs. My son’s Toyota Camry has 167,800 miles and is consuming oil. My theory is that the oil rings are sticking and not moving at all. I’m hoping this chemical frees up the rings so that they can move in and out to prevent oil burning in the future. Time will tell. I only use Mobil 1 in this engine and so I’m confident that it’s not very bad in the inside of the engine. I recently had the valve cover off and it was very clean inside the engine. I’m very confident that this product did some good in my engine because the oil came out super black. Never ever drive your vehicle with this BG chemical in the oil. My advice heat up your car engine so that this chemical can work right away. Don’t just add those to a cold engine and let it run inside of it for only 10 minutes because that would be a waste of money and wouldn’t work as well. It’s been 2 weeks since the review above. The oil has remained very clean and hasn’t gotten dirty yet. Before it wound get dark immediately. Car seems smoother and I believe the MPG went up. It’s my son’s vehicle took it on a 100 mile spin going to an A@W by myself with out him. Hasn’t used oil yet but it’s only been 2 weeks.
