Resa Willow
I do like this brand, Bruder Moist Heat Eye Compress. I have dry eye syndrome, and feel these help my eyes. I like the elastic Velcro swatch that you use to clasp it behind your head. You can adjust this to when putting it according to your head size. { I used a different brand for a while until I melted it.} I don't really know how that happened because I was very careful about the timing, but I think the age of the first one had something to do with it. One must be careful about the seconds used. I use 20 seconds for the Bruder, as recommended. I had used 25 with my first one, a different brand, and I think that had something to do with it, too. These things don't last forever; my first one lasted a year. I also do not put the mask in the middle of the microwave but rather nearer the edge of my revolving glass plate. It is not a high degree microwave. You always have to adjust everything according to your model. I won't go over 20 seconds. It does get hot but not uncomfortably hot. I use it for 10 minutes and it does get cooler as time goes by. Anything would, in my estimation. It is much better than hot washcloths over your eyes that cool really fast! I set the timer on the stove and the 10 minutes go by fast. I bought two to have revolving ones. Wash it with mild soap, rinse well, blot dry as much as you can and hang it up to dry. I let it dry for a day or so. I certainly would not put it back in the microwave while it had moisture in it. When I was at my eye doctor appointment, he recommended this brand very highly. He said it was the best he had come across. I paid more for this, but I was willing to because of his experience with different products. So, you decide. I am glad that I did. This seller sent the correct purchase in a timely manner and it was new.
