I do like this brand, Bruder Moist Heat Eye Compress. I have dry eye syndrome, and feel these help my eyes. I like the elastic Velcro swatch that you use to clasp it behind your head. You can adjust this to when putting it according to your head size. { I used a different brand for a while until I melted it.} I don't really know how that happened because I was very careful about the timing, but I think the age of the first one had something to do with it. One must be careful about the seconds used. I use 20 seconds for the Bruder, as recommended. I had used 25 with my first one, a different brand, and I think that had something to do with it, too. These things don't last forever; my first one lasted a year. I also do not put the mask in the middle of the microwave but rather nearer the edge of my revolving glass plate. It is not a high degree microwave. You always have to adjust everything according to your model. I won't go over 20 seconds. It does get hot but not uncomfortably hot. I use it for 10 minutes and it does get cooler as time goes by. Anything would, in my estimation. It is much better than hot washcloths over your eyes that cool really fast! I set the timer on the stove and the 10 minutes go by fast. I bought two to have revolving ones. Wash it with mild soap, rinse well, blot dry as much as you can and hang it up to dry. I let it dry for a day or so. I certainly would not put it back in the microwave while it had moisture in it. When I was at my eye doctor appointment, he recommended this brand very highly. He said it was the best he had come across. I paid more for this, but I was willing to because of his experience with different products. So, you decide. I am glad that I did. This seller sent the correct purchase in a timely manner and it was new.

This Bruder moist heat eye compress is simple to use. I put it on a paper plate and pop it in the microwave for about 17 seconds. Any longer than that in my microwave makes it too hot to immediately place on my eyes. I usually leave it on for 10 minutes at a time. The first couple of times I used it, I honestly did not think it felt very good until about after the first 2 minutes or so. But the longer I left it on the better it felt (maybe that just means it was working right away because I have dry eyes and some days my eyes are drier than other days). I now look forward to using this because it does feel good and I try to use it a few times a week. A couple years ago my eye doctor recommended that I use warm compresses on my eyes daily for blocked oil glands and I wish that he would have told me about this product and I would have bought it a long time ago! It's not very pretty to look at and maybe they'll improve the design in the future of this product, but it works good for my needs.

I suffer from dry eyes & have been using artificial tear drops. Went to the Optometrist yesterday & she told me that I suffer from MGD - where the glands get clogged and oil doesn’t reach the eye surface as much as it should. She recommended the Bruder Mask. Pop it in the microwave for 20 seconds & five minutes on the eyes, once or twice a week. She said the drops are like a bandaid & this is a treatment. What a difference!!! My eyes haven’t felt this good in YEARS!!! 20 seconds may not seem like there is that much heat against your fingertips. Against your eyes they definitely feel warm. The strap does not feel tight to me. And the price is less than $20. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND to anyone suffering from MGD!!

I have had dry eyes for years now. Then I had Lasik eye surgery and that made my eyes even more dry. My eye doctor tried different eye drops, then had my eye cauterization, an ophthalmologist applies heat to the puncta in each eye, permanently closing the duct and thus preventing tears from draining out. This help some what. Then went back and my eye doctor recommended these heat eye compress. Tried a warm damp wash cloth and that was messy and did not retain the heat very long at all. Then I tried these. This is really working well. My eyes after a few days are starting to feel much better. Best product, super easy to use. Highly recommended.

LOVE these! I have issues with blepharitis and occasional styes. Warm compresses are the single most important thing one can do to treat these problems, yet warm wash cloths cool too quickly. This is the ONLY product that actually retains heat for a long time, and since using, I’ve had very little issues with my eyes period. For the people who had problems with the straps tearing, the soft Velcro sticks so well, that pulling the straps apart without care could potentially wear down any seam of any product or material. Soft, shape conforming, and perfect heat! I recommend 100%!

My optometrist recommended I use a warm moist eye compress, so I bought this one. It works great! The instructions don't specify the microwave setting, but I found that at 1100 watts for 20 seconds is just right. It doesn't burn my eyes or scorch in the microwave. Since I have a 1300 watt microwave, I reduce the power level from 10 to 8, and it works just fine. The compress does cool slightly in the minute it takes me to transport it to my bedroom and lie down, so please keep that in mind. I would recommend this.

A bit expensive but <<$1/ day if used daily. We now have epidemic dry eye syndrome, since many folks are doing screenwork for 11+ hrs daily-- with less blinking/lubricating of our eyes, and "drop out" of eye lubricating glands if they're non-functional for a long time. Mask's moist heat lasts much longer than heated cloth, and is much neater (no spilled or dripped water). Use of mask brought me a lot of unexpected **comfort**, as well as better acuity. Buy this mask to save time and money!

My new health plan will not cover Restasis or any other dry eye medication. Shame on them. As an analyst who relies on my eyesight to work, my doctor put me on a regimen of moist, warm eye mask treatment 2x daily , eyelid scrubs, and OTC eye drops. Talk about a hassle, but this eye mask really works well. I can feel the oil in my eyes after using this eye mask for 10 minutes. Just don’t be a dummy and over heat the mask in the microwave. This is a top notch product!

I love the ease of use. Feels great. Just the right amount of heat. However, I use a makeup wipe to clean my eyelids prior to use, but still get the small residual of mascara that doesn't come completely off. I use it for Blepharitis which requires twice a day use. If I have to clean it which requires a 24 hr period to dry, it defeats the purpose . I'm going to try placing a tissue between my eyelid and pad to see if that helps keep makeup off the pad.

My doctor recommended a product such as this for my severe dry eye symptoms. After comparing products and ratings, this seemed the best choice - and it was! Easy to use - put in microwave for 10-15 seconds - and it lays comfortably over my eyes. The pads are soft and comfortable. The adjustable headband keeps it perfectly in place. Makes it easy to follow my doctor's orders for using this at least 10 minutes a day.

This is a very effective product. However, make sure you loosen the adjustable velcro strap before you put it on. The eye pads are thick, and if the strap holding it on is too tight, when you take the item off your face, you will have blurry eyesight for a few minutes because the pads press into your cornea. Just take a second and don't fasten it too tight and you will be very satisfied with this product.

My ophthalmologist recommended this product to treat my dry eye symptoms. It absolutely helps when used properly! It is normal to have blurry vision after use — that means the bruder mask worked for you! It helped your glands release the oils that they’re meant to on their own. This even alleviates my eye allergy symptoms. I have had mine for 2 years now and it still works excellently!

I use bruders two times daily for ten minutes each time. And it’s worth it. If y’all have dry eyes y’all will understand how devastating it can be. I’ve been told it’s the water. As severe red eyes after each shower. Anyway My friend uses another brand that her eye doctor recommended. My eye doctor steered me here to bruder. I drape a clean soft cloth over my eyes beforehand.

My eye doctor recommended these for my dry eye issues. They do seem to help my dry eye issues. The product helps loosen the oils in the eye glands. They stay warm longer than using a wet washcloth heated in the microwave. It takes a few minutes to get your vision clear after using them. It's worth it to see better the rest of the day. I would recommend these to a friend.

This is easier than the moist wash cloths I had been heating in a microwave before for a stye on my eyelid. No dripping water. But, then again, I don't know why this product is described as a "Moist Heat Compress". There is no moisture involved that I can tell. You don't soak it in water before microwaving it. It seems to work though. Stye is better though not gone yet.
