6-Piece Compression Packing Cubes for Travel – Space-Saving Luggage Organizers (White & Green)
These are pretty clever. They work like the expansion pack on your luggage. You pack them with your clothes or fabric items (something that can shrink somewhat) then you zip them up and then there is a second set of zippers that does the “compression” These are NOT a vacuum type contraption so don’t expect “air removal” type compression. The def work the best if you were to fold items and not roll them up. They aren’t magic so if you have, for example a pile of flat cotton shirts it’s only going to compress so much. These are worth it for travelers that are good about packing and what to strategize their space. If you’re already good at packing and want to minimalist a little more then these are for you
Pros.
1 At best they eliminate 30-40% space when you happen to have just the right circumstances
2. Nice sizes and they usually compartmentalize nicely in luggage side by side
3. The whole pile is almost weightless. Maybe 4 oz total
4. These are good if you are trying to create space when you pack light because you plan on bringing home items from vacation
Cons.
1. Not the best construction. I would like to have products like this just be a little more expensive and in turn, constructed better. You go into a product like this knowing you’re going to put stress on them so when you look down and see it splitting or unraveling you sadly are unsurprised and the inevitable disappointment sets in. Just make them double stitch with thick nylon and give me some ykk zippers and I’ll pay.
2. When they do work they still result in a kind of bubble/clamshell shape because most of the compression is on the edges obviously
3. For people who wear size large shirts and pants or even bigger you might end up being too efficient with these and think you can pack more in your large sized luggage but you just end up filling that extra space and then you have a luggage that weighs way too much for the airport. Usually when I fill my luggage I end up at 40lbs in a large sized luggage. The new found xtra space these allow just ended up giving me space to mess myself up and end up at 60 lbs which is too much for US airport travel

6-Piece Compression Packing Cubes for Travel – Space-Saving Luggage Organizers (White & Green)
I was extremely skeptical of these packing cubes when I received them, as they are so thin and lightweight I was worried about their durability. It turns out, my worries were unfounded; I was able to fully stuff these cubes, and the zippers held beautifully, as did the stitching. My husband and I took our kids on vacation, and we were determined everyone would just take a backpack. The largest of these cubes allowed me to pack five days worth of clothes into my own ~15 inch height backpack ("regular" size backpack, see pic), along with a small toiletry bag and travel scarf. I packed my husband's clothes into the other large cube for his bag (slacks, swim trunks, two tees, two button-downs, and a thin sweater, see pics), used the smallest bag for his socks, undies, belt, and sunglasses (pic), then used the two small cubes for two of my children's clothes (see my pic of one packed with shorts, leggings, swimsuit, tee, undies, and a sweater with plenty of room left), and had them all put the bags into their personal backpacks. It worked wonderfully, and I just wish I had another set of cubes so I could have packed my other kids' clothes into them!
These packing cubes are amazingly lightweight (perfect since we didn't need additional weight to carry), and the nylon ripstop material is strong. The zippers all pull easily, and I didn't have problems with them getting stuck on the bags themselves (an issue I've encountered with other compression cubes). I like the slightly see-through material, as it makes it easy to see the bags' contents, and the carry handles on the top, perfect for pulling them out of a backpack. Depending on how I pack them, and exactly what I pack (obviously something like jeans won't smoosh well), I can save almost half the space of just stuffing my clothes into a regular (non-compression) cube. Too bad it also doesn't make the contents weigh less... ;-)
Overall, these cubes are great for organization and for saving space. They are durable, and I anticipate years of usage in hopefully many more travels. I would recommend these compression cubes.

I actually used to be someone that thought these bags were a waste of time, but no more! Now that I have come to travel almost every month, I'm absolutely in love with them. These bags are working out great, and the size options available are really working for me. While these bags can help you compress your clothes, I find that what I love most about them is that they help you stay organized if you are living out of your suitcase for days on end. They're also great because if anything is in bag then you know it's clean, which can sometimes be a challenge when you are living out of a hotel room. The carrying handle is nice, my others don't have that feature. I also like that the compression zipper and opening zipper are different colors so I don't get them mixed up. They are lightweight so it keeps the luggage weight down, and I can put a whole XL shirt in them if it's folded like they fold it in the store. I mean, these things are just a god-send. I use the different sizes for shirts, underwear, and socks. They make packing so nice, I mean it really makes it so easy, especially if you need to move things around to make something else fit. All these bags no matter the brand seem to be "lightweight" and are made of ripstock nylon, which means, they might not last as long as you want them to, but as long as you're not stressing it too much with the compression and are gentle, you will get years of use out of them. I also like the white color since it makes it easy to see inside; I can't live without them anymore. Highly recommended, and if these fail prematurely, I'll be sure to update my review.

For medical reasons, I have to travel "light". Also for medical reasons, traveling "light" isn't as light as I wish. Both of these introduce significant restrictions on both size and weight of what I can carry. Unfortunately, clothes tend to have bulk, and luggage is either very expensive or heavy. Sometimes both.
These lightweight compression bags… the heaviest parts of them are the zippers. And they're a bit hefty because they're solid, strong zippers, but I'll take that compromise. Slot a couple changes of clothes into these and compress them down into a package that fits in with all the other stuff I've got to carry, no fuss.
Using the large one, I can pack clothes for the night and the next day into it, and then slot it into my backpack with all of my medication, a laptop, and charger for laptop and phone. That's what I needed, and that's what I got. And it's not a very large backpack, either. So … win!
I know I've seen them made lighter than this. The question is, those cost 2-3 times what these do, and they're only a couple of ounces lighter for the whole set. Is that worth it? Even for me, who literally measures the things I carry in grams rather than ounces and pounds … no, it's not. These are a great option, and I'm glad I've got them.

Love these compression cubes! They were exactly what I was looking for. They have the main zipper and then the compression zipper. Many other packing cubes do not have this feature. In addition, these don't have a mesh covering which I actually prefer. Despite the fact that it doesn't have mesh covering, you can still see through into it and finding things in the bags are still easy to do. I tested to see the durability of these bags by placing a blanket in it. It worked great. I decided to add another blanket just to see how it did. I have to say it did pretty well. The zipper felt sturdy and strong. It didn't feel like it was going to break. The seams didn't appear to be pulling apart, like others I have used. I really love these. I just worry about the material because it does feel plasticky. If not careful, I can puncture it depending on what I place in the bags. But seeing as I will be using these for clothes during travel, I don't believe that should be an issue. Highly recommend these!

Good cubes overall. I like the lightweight material best. seems strong. We'll see how the seams hold up, especially when compressed. I've always used cubes when travelling, but wanted to upgrade my old non compression cubes. I can't say that these really save a ton of space over non compression style, but I like them overall. For reference, I used only the 2 larger cubes, which fit perfectly in my carry on, with room for my toiletries also. In those 2 cubes I packed: 2 pairs of jeans, a button down flannel, a lightweight hoodie, 5 tshirts, 5 pairs of socks, and 5 pairs of underwear. I do like the dimensions of the cubes. Like I said, the 2 large ones fit perfectly in my carry on, but the small one is exactly half the size of the large, so 2 small ones would allow a little more options. I do wish the set came with either 1 large and 2 small for cheaper or 2 large and 2 small for slightly more.

Checking a bag at the airport is something I try to avoid, so it's essential to have everything in a small carryon. These packing cubes make it easy to not only organize everything, but they also compress clothing so they take up less space. Place items neatly either rolled or folded (my choice) in the bag, zip the green zipper almost closed and then zip the grey zipper around and watch your items begin to compress. Be sure to keep a finger between the bag fabric and the bottom side of the zipper as you zip to avoid the bag fabric from getting caught in the zipper. Press lightly and then finish closing the green zipper. It doesn't compress as tightly as a vacuum system, but you also don't have to keep up with or pack the vacuum tools. Great set which includes 5 different sizes of zipper bags and a drawstring bag for dirty laundry, etc.

I live out of a duffel bag these days between my fiancée's house and mine and couldn't do it and keep my sanity without packing cubes to keep things organized. I have several sets that I use regularly, and these are always in the mix. They're very well made, lightweight & not bulky with quality zippers. I carry an extra one or two with me just because they take up no space on their own. They compress nicely - zippers and sticking both hold up well. My only complaint is that I wish they opened up just a little more than they do - the openings on most of them are staggered from one side to the other and in my opinion could come down a little further to make the opening larger when unzipped. Otherwise, very happy with them.

These bags are very lightweight. You unzip the black zipper to expand it and the green zipper to put your clothes in. Both the large and small bags are easy to fill and fit the amount of clothes per the description. The roll up your clothes pro tip was helpful. Once packed, the green zipper was easy to close. The black zipper is challenging to close. The inner lining kept getting stuck in the zipper and it was difficult to compress and zip. Once zipped, it did offer a compressed package. The positives for me are they are lightweight, allows me to keep different clothing items (t-shirts, pants) separated, I can fit much more in my bag, and my bag is much more organized when I unpack.

I have been an advocate of packing cubes for many years, and have a similar set with a well-known brand name that have been around the world on numerous trips. This set includes 6 bags, enough to contain everything in your suitcase, which helps to keep it organized. I can stuff all my shirts for a 3 week cube in 1 sack, all undies and socks in another, and pants in another. I never have loose clothing floating around in my suitcase - everything is in a sack. It’s good to have extra ones also so that you can segregate the clean from the dirty laundry. These are well made with string zippers, and weigh almost nothing.

When I pack to go somewhere, I pack as light as possible. But sometimes, I need more things than normal and don’t like to bring a big suit case. I’m always putting clothes in trash bags and sitting on it to get the air out. I also have vacuum bags, but not every place has a vacuum to use to shrink the bags for on the way home. These are an ok alternative. They don’t shrink it as much as I need it to shrink, or as much as putting things in a trash bag and sitting on it. They do help as shown in my pictures, but not as much as I hoped. They are good to keep things organized too.

I finally got to use these for a trip to our family’s vacation property. I was able to pack about 5 days worth of full outfits, workout clothes, and several bathing suits using just the 2 large and 2 small bags. The four bags fit into my carry on suitcase along with the rest of the stuff I needed to bring. So far they have held up to the packing routine and the play routine with the cats. They are made of a fairly lightweight, pliable, and quiet material. I am a little skeptical how they will hold up over multiple trips but time will tell, otherwise I am so far happy.

I always use packing cubes when I travel and these compression cubes are better than my old ones! I was able to pack one pair of jeans, three T-shirts and a pair of jean shorts in the large cube (all women’s clothes). I do think these would have compressed a little better without the pair of jeans, I think they were too bulky. I could have added several more shirts in place of the jeans. Also, make sure and watch the video on the proper way to use them. If you’ve never used packing cubes before these are definitely a game changer for travel!

I love compression cubes for packing. I tend to travel with a travel backpack and so saving space is a priority. I also like the organization of cubes. My main gripe with some of the cubes is their lack of durability. The zippers tend to be lightweight and they rip apart in no time. I don’t foresee that happening quickly with these. The zippers are high quality and the material is a bit thicker and ripstop. They feel like a very robust cube, but are still lightweight. I like these.

We love these packing cubes. We use them for keeping our backpacking clothes. It is great that they are lightweight and can easily be grabbed. It allows us to keep the things we need for regular use in the pack and just add and remove the packing cubes.
I love that the fabric is a sturdy rip-stop fabric that is both light and durable.
Overall very happy with the "Compression Packing Cubes for Travel - 6pcs set - Expandable Storage Travel Luggage Bags/Organizers".
