Made to their exact specifications on temperature and steep time, this tea will not punch you in the face with cookies and cream flavour. I found it to be a lighter taste than that of a typical loose leaf orange pekoe, with just a hint of cookie. The second cup I made with a longer steep time, and added a splash of milk. This really brought out the flavour in my opinion. The amount included is good for the price when compared to other premium tea leaves. I found the caffeine hit harder than a typical orange pekoe, I underestimated it and was kept awake very late. I probably wouldn't get more cookies and cream, but I definitely recognize the quality of the leaves and will excitedly try their other flavours.

I love to support small brands that have a good mission statement and The Paisley Hippo definitely qualifies. Women supporting women is right up my alley and I'm happy to purchase from them in the future. Since this is listed as high caffeine, I have been drinking it in the morning. It definitely gives me a boost but doesn't make me jittery or over-caffeinated. I followed the brewing directions and found the tea a bit weak for my tastes. I like a very robust black tea. I have started brewing it for six minutes instead and it is absolutely perfect. It has no bitterness. It is a very smooth tasting tea and I can tell it from the flavour and appearance that it uses high quality tea leaves. The cookies and cream flavour is delicious and not overpowering. I can really smell it in the bag and from the brewed tea. This high-quality tea is something I would purchase again!

The smell really is undeniably cookies and cream. It's honestly impressive how well it manages to capture that aroma. The taste is also good, but it's no where near as unmistakable as the scent, which makes it somewhat underwhelming and (at first) potentially a little off-putting. The first impression is that it seems disproportionate, or even that something's off. It's unfortunate that it can give that reaction since the tea actually tastes fine. My preference for tea is to have it plain, without milk or sugar, though I do sometimes have a dash of milk to change things up. But in the case of this tea I think a bit of milk improves it. It's not too expensive ($6.27 for 50g) so despite its slight self-betrayal I think it's still worth trying.

It smells really good, exactly like cookies and cream. Had a decent colour on the tea and the tea itself also smelled like cookies and cream. But the flavour is very mild. The cookies and cream flavour was really weak and hard to taste and I used a fair bit of leaves, more than their recommended 1 tsp per 8oz . You had to focus on the taste to taste it otherwise the flavour has a weird almost soapy flavour to it. I needed to add even more tea leaves for the cookies and cream taste to really come out and taste good. The caffeine doesn't seem too high, maybe medium. I'm a fan of the idea of mixing tea with cookies and cream flavour but this doesn't seem strong enough despite the strong aroma.

I thought this was a nice tea, the same level you would get from some tea brands being sold at the mall. It is more of a scent of cookies and cream than the aroma. Still, the tea flavour was decent and enjoyable. The packaging says high caffeine content, so I was a little worried. I have a caffeine sensitivity and hence always prefer tea to coffee. However, I didn't get jitters at all, just a very pleasant boost.

Everything about this tea is pretty cute. The nicely designed bag, the whimsical hippo brand name and logo, and the unusual and fanciful flavour of "cookies and cream". It tastes pretty good too, not super strong but definitely reminiscent of a sweet creamy dessert. It is a caffeinated black tea, so you have to be careful not to drink too much, especially near bedtime. But I think it goes well with breakfast. It's definitely a cute idea and I appreciate venturing beyond your standard flavour profiles in a black tea product.

When I opened the bag the smell of cookies and cream is right there oh my! I made a cup of this tea as instructed….the tea taste very nice as a black tea but the smell is exactly like cookies and cream lol ! Very good tea ☕️

Absolutely delicious. Tastes like Cookies and Cream and this tea is fresh.
