This sweater is exceptionally versatile and comfortable. I've found it can be worn year-round in climates where different layers are needed at various times during the day, especially in coastal climates such as California's with cool mornings and evenings. I wear the polo over a merino or cotton t-shirt with jeans for work and dress slacks for dinner or evenings out. The fit is loose enough to be comfortable but not overly so as to be sloppy or too casual. For those not familiar with how merino "feels" against one's skin, I'd describe it as similar to cashmere, but more comfortable and more versatile in terms of how it's maintained. I have several Aklanda sweaters in my wardrobe and each is exceptionally well made, comfortable and with care, will last a lifetime. I can't recommend this or Aklanda's other sweaters high enough, and hope the colors the Polo collection is available in will be expanded.

Agonised ver the selectin of the Block stripe scarf ( Blue). Light weight yet warm Merion wool. High quality materials. Great value for money. Dont usually wear a scarf until now... Very Good to deal with, excellent service

Although it is not what I was looking for, I decided to give it a go and I am glad I did. Beautiful colour, excellent finishing, warm and classic with all the benefits of the Merino wool and made in Australia.

Have just received my sweater today and am very impressed with it. Typical of Aklanda, this is a very well made sweater that is nice and firm in construction with a great shawl collar that allows for it to be worn formally or casually. The pattern gives it something different as well.

This is my second Aklanda jumper, I was so impressed with the first one that I bought this without hesitation. It's very hard to find something of this quality that's made in Australia. This is a real cult jumper. The shawl collar is a brilliant invention. Buy one and you'll soon wor k out why. This one didn't have the shawl collar but was such a bargain it was impossible to pass up. Good on you Aklanda for producing such a brilliant product. Five stars!

I had two of these sweaters from previous visits to Australia. After looking all over for comparable V neck in navy blue, I finally relented and ordered from Aklanda. Should have done it sooner. Won't make this mistake again!

Not much of a scarf wearer but purchased a 3 block stripe one in Green to coordinate with a snow jacket for our trip to Europe in December. It is a good length & stretchy enough to twist in different ways & a fine weave.

Have 4 of these. They are a really modern design whilst having the weight of the heavyweight ribbed style. The pattern is really unique and works perfectly with jeans over a t shirt. If any new colours come out I’ll be buying more!
