I recently bought the Casino 3-button Polo and liked it so much that I grabbed 3 more (Berry, Mushroom - finally back in stock! and the new Denim color) when they went on sale. Aklanda's (and Australia Post's) always prompt order fulfillment ensured that I received my new sweaters in 6 days, from Melbourne to LA. As stated in my first review, these sweaters are exceptionally versatile, and comfortable. The polo's weight is light enough to be worn year-round in climates where different layers are needed at various times of the day, especially in coastal climates such as Southern California's with cool mornings and evenings year-round. I wear Merino polos over a merino or cotton t-shirt with jeans for work and dress slacks for dinners or evenings out. The fit is loose enough to be comfortable but not sloppy or too casual. For those not familiar with how merino "feels" against one's skin, I'd describe it as similar to cashmere, but more comfortable and more versatile in terms of how it's maintained. For US shoppers, the polos can be machined-washed on a cold cycle with Tide detergent (the pods work great) or dry-cleaned at a reputable cleaner. I have several Aklanda sweaters in my wardrobe and each is exceptionally well made, comfortable and with care, will last a lifetime. I can't recommend this or Aklanda's other sweaters highly enough, and hope the colors the Polo collection is available in will be expanded.

Warm, comfortable, never scratches, goes with every outfit whether smartly dressed or just casual. if you can't find that perfect jumper, then this is it, the only jumper you will ever want. Believe me because we have had 10 of them over our 35 years of marraige and I'm the one who buys them.

Aklanda has long been my first choice when I am looking to buy knitwear, and I have never been disappointed with my choice. This applies to my recent my purchase of a long-sleeve merino wool polo. It is stylish, soft on the skin, and fits perfectly. Aklanda garments are not cheap, but they are quality and last forever.
