I am reasonably new to specialty coffee. I had never tried unwashed and stopped by the roastery in Nashville. They were very generous with their time and made me a pour over of this and the washed for a side by side taste test. Being new to this world I have been trying a lot of different coffees and this one has some of the best flavor of any that I have had and made me a HUGE fan of unwashed coffee. The natural process made a big difference and I love it.

We have been with Bongos for many years now, and pretty much tried all the blends and single origin. UW Sidama is our current favorite. Well, we go for the single origins, and the UnWashed have a special taste, or should I say after taste that equals espresso by a barista! Amongst the UW, Sidama wins hands down, for us at least. Ethiopian coffee is low on acid, and truly spells Good Morning for you! A winner!

This coffee has a wonderful mixture of berry and a certain unique Sidama flavor. Neutral acid and very satisfying and nurturing flavors for my mornings.
