Already made my 3rd batch.... a firm fave!
The smell of my kitchen when this soup is cooking is indescribable. This was the very first Mitchell's Soup Mix I bought and it may be the reason I fell in love. The flavour is just wonderful and the smell takes me directly to Southeast Asia, a place I've visited before and would love to see again.
My recommendation with any soup that contains shrimp is to consider only adding the shrimp when you reheat the portion (if, like me, you'll be freezing some). This soup when it thaws always looks a little bit wonky and then as it reheats it sorts itself out perfect and is just as yummy as the first time.
