Truly Wonderful!
I have never had potato soup before, but my 10 year old son saw this display of soup mixes and wanted to try it, so I let him pick one out. It was an impulse buy, but next time it will be our main purchase! It was absolutely delicious and rich. We cooked it together, which was a delight in itself, but then we served it to the rest of the family and he was quite proud of the dish and can't wait to try it again. I told him it would probably be a great Christmas gift for those hard to buy for friends and family, then he asked for one in his stocking. The farm store we purchased from will be closed in winter so I'm very glad to have found your site!

Approval from anti-soupers
My family are not big on soup. Husband is a nope to soup in general, kids are really only into tomato soup on the rare occasion. I got a "You're not going to get a this is good comment because it's soup, but I would eat this again and it would be a good meal to have in fall after a hike). That is probably the highest compliment my husband would ever give soup. My kids say they love it and would like to have it again sometime. Both are probably slightly buttering me up with compliments, but if they don't like something they always do tell me. So another win. Followed exactly except for I used only 2% milk.

Hearty Soups
Although I was raised on a farm and we often made our own soups, time is scarce these days and I found Mitchells Soups at a local market. I have gone back to try them all but love the Fully Loaded Potato Soup. So versatile by adding sweet potato's, bacon, ham, more cream instead of milk/water. The choice becomes yours and what you have in your fridge/pantry. Handy to be able to split into two for smaller families. Easy to follow instructions and great flavour.

Not My Favourite
I usually have nothing but good things to say about the Mitchell's soups we've tried, but I can't say I recommend this one, although I was in the minority in my family! I just found it too "stodgy", with the many starchy components - cornstarch, flour, dried potato (which had a slightly artificial flavour), rice, quinoa - used as thickeners. It never seemed to thin down, no matter how much milk I added to it, and the next day, leftovers were very gloopy.

Truly Fully Loaded!!
This soup is comfort food to the extreme! It is easy to make, easier to eat. I hate cooking in the summer, so when I do, I like to make it worth my time. It makes a huge amount, which I divided up into single serve portions and popped into the freezer. Easy meal solution for another day. For years I have made potato soup from scratch, but this is now my go to my method, it’s as easy as it is good 👍

Wow!!!
I LOVE THIS MIX!!!! I actually added 4 cups of diced potatoes (about 6 medium sized potatoes) instead of 4 potatoes, and I added leftover diced ham instead of bacon. This recipe is so easy, quick and tastes like you spent hours in the kitchen. Great with some crusty bread and a salad!!! I highly recommend it; you won't be disappointed!

Yummy
This was excellent. The only changes that I made was to add whole milk powder (Medallion Milk from Manitoba) near the end so that it was as though the soup was made only with milk (about 1/2 cup or more) and topped it with the sour cream, grated cheddar and sliced green onion. It didn’t really even need the sour cream to be tasty.

Yumm with a topping of yumm
This is hands-down just a fabulous soup. Use any combination of cream and milk that suits your palate and your waistline. I went with 2/3 2% milk and 1/3 10% cream. The soup was rich, hearty, and absolutely delicious. I topped it with old cheddar, a few bacon bits, a dollop of sour cream, and some sliced green onion tops.

Fully Loaded Potato Soup
This was yummy! The only changes that I made was that near the end I added about 2/3 or more cup of powdered (Medallion Milk from Manitoba) whole milk powder so it was like it was cooked totally in milk and (reconstituted powdered milk) and added sliced green onions on top with some grated cheddar. Everyone loved it.

Fully Loaded Potato Soup
I wasn’t expecting potato soup to be so tasty! I did it via IP method since it is 31° and wanted to minimize heat in house. Oh I cut up stew beef carrots, peas & corn but forgot spinach. Added about 1/2 pint 18% cream. Look you could put whatever veggies you want and the tasties will be there to enjoy.

Fabulous soup.
Just made this today. I tweaked it a bit. Added about 2 cups sliced carrots and 2 cups cubed leftover ham since I had only 2 slices of bacon. I used chicken broth instead of water, 2 cups cream and 11/2 cups milk. When cooked, I added 4 cups baby spinach. Absolutely delicious. A big hit.

It doesnt get any better than this!
People will think you are a Michelin star chef when you serve them. Tastes fantastic. Easy prep and you will feel better knowing EXACTLY what you are eating. The packaging is also a work a of art and its almost a shame to have to open it.

Bacon lovers rejoice!
Who doesn't love bacon? I have gone back to this soup mix on many occasions and each time I tweak it to make it an absolutely fantastic dining experience. So thick, so delicious... hard to share. Does that make a bad parson....lol.

Too peppery
I love loaded baked potato soup. I followed the recipe and unfortunately this was not a hit. It had potential but just way too peppery. Think the top popped off and you accidentally dumped the whole container of black pepper in.
