I made this for my family and we all found it delicious. However, there definitely wasn’t enough seasoning in the packet, at least for our taste. Pretty easy fix with just chicken bouillon and a decent amount of salt, though! I perhaps would recommend using chicken broth. The good thing is you can adjust it to your liking! I just wish it came more flavourful. Other than that, it was delicious and we already purchased a second packet.

I've now made this twice, and I'm glad I did! My adult daughter LOVES soups so I was excited to try this one. I was not prepared for her reaction. While I really enjoyed it, she could not eat it at all, which left me eating the whole batch between myself and my younger daughter (who is not a fan of soup). The issue I had not expected is rosemary... My eldest daughter has a strong distaste for it, and while it does not normally affect her significantly, the flavour in the first package we tried was distinct. Once she mentioned it, I definitely could taste it as a noticeable ingredient. I decided to try it again and this time, the rosemary was not noticeable at all. If there, it was just part of the overall seasoning and did not stand out. It was devoured by all. For chicken based soups, I grab a BBQ chicken from Costco. I remove the chicken and simmer the bones to make broth. I use this as the base (instead of just water) and then add the cooked chicken, saving the step of having to cook it. Delish.

Delicious soup. Will leave out the pasta next time. It does not eat well when you have leftovers, it gets too mushy. It definitely makes ALOT. Will definitely divide up the ingredients next time. On a side note I used the store finder and none of the stores in my areas have the potatoe soup. It was the one I most wanted to try. Guess I will have to keep searching.

This soup has lots of potential, but I found it too thick following the direction of adding 10 cups of water. I’d you add more water it dilutes the taste, so next time I will add more liquids and use chicken broth instead of water to give it more flavour. Love how convenient and easy these soup mixes are overall!

I had high hopes for this soup after reading the reviews. It was the first of Mitchell Soup that I bought and made. The recipe calls for 8-10 cups of water. I measured out 10. Unfortunately that wasn't nearly enough. The 'soup' became very thick - almost stew-like. Adding more water diluted the overall flavour and was bland. I recently made the Mexican Tortilla soup - it's delicious!

It was good, but not the best from this brand. I followed all directions but it didn't turn out very flavourful. It was kind of bland. I recommend the Thai prawn soup..or Mexican tortilla!!

I’ve been making these soups and stews for over a year now. Great variety of vegetarian and vegan choices. I usually bundle the savings and give as gifts to family and friends to enjoy as well. 2 thumbs up!

Full disclosure, I've been stuck inside my home for months recovering from a femur fracture. Having a robust variety of tasty and nutritious soups in the freezer is really helpful in simplifying my life. 🙂 This one's a Winner! Very flavourful, plenty of texture, and you can easily incorporate extra veggies. I used a couple of chicken breasts so there is lots of protein. Yumm! I'll be doing this one again.

This is the only chicken soup mix I have found that has lots and lots of flavour. I even use it as my base for making turkey soup with Christmas leftovers. I highly recommend it.

Excellent soup on a cold day

This is another mix I like to stock up on. I love this feel-good soup on a rainy/stormy day served with fresh biscuits. Makes a large pot - perfect for leftovers or feeding a crowd. (TIP: I use 2 cans of Costco chicken breast chunks if I don't have time to cook fresh/frozen chicken) :-)

Herb and chicken soup is timeless. Yours brings an old fashioned flavour that can’t be beat!
