Update to previous review
I realized after submitting my review (and making another delicious soup) the error of my ways! The instructions say to simmer "covered" and I did so uncovered, which is why it was much more stew like! Both are delicious.

So good but barely fit in my InstaPot!
My InstaPot was filled at capacity! After adding 2 lbs of beef, 10 cups of water and a can of diced tomatoes, my InstaPot was filled to the rim. I still had to add the mix and the vegetables. I managed to cook it by removing some liquid which I added later on. It was super delicious of course but I’d just like to warn people.

Great soup
I made the Beef Barley Soup in my Instant Pot tonight for dinner. Great flavour and super easy. I highly recommend.

Soo good
I like this soup very much. I "tweeked"it a bit by adding extra garlic, bay leaf and Vegeta instead of salt. I also added diced carrots and celery. I am a very good cook but I still like using this soup mix because the flavor is different than what I usually cook from scratch. I also love the variety of beans used in the mix. It is money saver because it is all in the package including spices. I made it in instapot and served with home made dinner rolls. It is delicious.

Hearty and delicious
I made this one first as I ordered this and the chili from a fundraiser event. I must say it was hearty and very delicious, the seasonings were spot on. I used lean sirloin beef cut into bite size pieces carrots, celery, and red potatoes with the skin on. Just me and my hubby so I did half the bag and it made enough for 2 meals. Even had enough to portion out and freeze for a quick lunch.

AMAZINGLY Delicious
This was the first pkg of mixes from Mitchells Soup Co that I tried and I'm hooked. We followed the directions and it was delicious! It also makes a huge portion. It made 12 servings. There are 3 of us and that means 4 meals out of one package.

YUM!
This was the first time making one of your soups and it certainly won’t be the last! This soup is a hearty, stick-to-your-ribs kind of soup that’s full of flavour. Adding Parmesan just before eating was great. A wonderful soup that I will definitely make again.

Tried your Old Fashion Beef and Barley tonight for dinner. Served it with homemade bread. It was so delicious, great flavour and filling. Plan on going out tomorrow to find some more.

Delicious discovery
I just stumbled across your soup mixes & love the idea of combining the soup mix with fresh ingredients. The idea is brilliant and so delicious. I've started with the beef barley soup, was so rich with flavor... now for the classic chicken noodle. Will keep you posted.

Incredible
I bought four different types at Brickworks market. This was the first one I tried. I used lean turkey instead of beef and it was incredible. The ingredients and directions were spot on. I highly recommend this soup mix. I can’t wait to try the other mixes I bought.

One of my favourites
I think this is one of my favourite soups. I use Mexican veggie burger to give it a little bite. This soup can be used with thin sliced steak, or ground beef so it taste just like your mom may have made it. This is my fall / winter comfort food. Love the flavour.

Hearty and delicious
Really enjoyed the Old Fashioned Beef & Barley "soup". It was more of a stew than a soup, but that suited me just fine. I added two pounds of lean ground beef, carrot, celery and onion along with the diced tomatoes and Worcestershire sauce. If you are looking for more of a soup, you may want to add some additional water (cooking it any less or lower may not cook your legumes). I liked the variety of legumes as well that added to the healthy, heartiness of it. Definitely recommend and will buy again. I have been watching my calories so in case it is helpful to others, I used the calculations on the bag for the dry contents, and added the beef, tomatoes, onion, carrot, celery and worcestershire sauce for a total of approximately 3000 calories and a total yield of approximately 16 cups, or about 188 calories per cup. A single cup is so filling!

Great soup for a fall day
This is one of the best we have had and is so yummy on a cool fall day. I added abit of fresh chili pepper to give it a bit of a "kick".

Family favourite
All soup mixes are great but this is a family favourite in the winter. Easy to make, delicious and fill up your belly.
