Definitely go for the high definition options. The mask is too hard to see what is being displayed up close due to the amount of LEDs. The masks with more lights will definitely be clearer. It’s not a bad product. It’s just not ideal for my situation.

Pretty killer, comfort is good when it comes to wearing, thickness quite form, warnth could be cooler so it doesn't fog up the eye holes which is does do as well as downgrade your range of view but it still has the upside to any future Tecno DJ

My son loved all the different options available & he was able to customize the writing on the mask as well, he absolutely loved this gift!!

Seriously, what in the world?! I don’t check out any of this stuff but it was a solid recommendation. I’m hoping not to run into any of the recharging issues, but so far so good. The app is great, response time is instant. Only downsides are there’s no button on the app to turn the mask on and off, and I have the peripheral vision of a stormtrooper. Worth it.

I was a little weary after reading some of the negative reviews but the positive reviews were so good that I took the chance and purchased this mask for my son and I am SO GLAD I did!! I chose the re-chargeable version and have had no problems with it whatsoever and we’ve had it for nearly a month now. The app you use can be a little confusing but once you use the instructions and explore the app (by randomly pressing each option), you can figure out which icon takes you to whichever feature you need. Uploading images of faces/masks you’d like to use is SUPER easy and there are a bunch of masks already pre-loaded (as well as some animated ones, which I wish were more of AND I wish you could add custom animated ones; if anyone knows how to do this, please let me know)! The variety of loadable masks makes it versatile for different occasions. I purchased this for my son’s birthday but it can be used whenever and my kids are into cosplay so this could be used for that as well! Field of vision isn’t spectacular but given the need to leave some space in the mask sans LED lights so that one can see through it, it’s expected. Still not “bad” by any means, just be careful if wearing for Halloween (crossing streets, small children in your space (you might not see them!), and any obstacles you might be able to trip over). Overall, very happy with this purchase!

So after fiddling with it for a bit, it works great! I bough the battery version, as the reviews had basically said to buy it instead of the charging version, and I don't regret it so far. Haven't had any issues with it, it lights up well. The DIY function isn't thaaaaat great unless you do pixel art that's bright. The app itself isn't hard to use, however with these types of apps, I'm always looking out for malicious things(such as permissions). If you buy the battery version, you will need 3 double A batteries in order for it to work.(If you plan on using for Halloween, bring an extra set with in case, however I don't know how long it'll last based off the three batteries.) The music function doesn't work that well, the animation is quite slow animation wise, so it doesn't sync up that well. The fit isn't too bad, but the eye holes are pretty small, so if you're gonna be walking around with stuff on the ground, you'll have a hard time seeing. I do know there's numerous brands that sell this same exact mask for the same price, but I feel that the DIY and Music sync function needs a lot of work. Maybe in the near future the image quality will become better. ________________________________________________________________________ ^Update 10/31/21 The mask was great, everyone loved it. The mask worked as expected. The app is fairly easy to figure out and use. There is a large number of “faces” to choose from in the app. Most of the faces appear very well on the mask and only a few have too many dark features that are not overly visible. The main problem with the mask and the reason I returned it was the inability to see well enough to walk around safely. This was bought for my 8 year old boy and it was far too difficult for him to see where he was going. So much so he couldn’t see well enough to grab the candy out of the bowls while trick or treating. He wound up walking around w/ the mask up until he was standing at the front door of the houses. It is similar to walking around while squinting and having zero peripheral vision and only being able to see straight ahead.

I bought this for my 11 year old for sixth grade graduation. I charged it for him before I gave it to him so when he got it it was ready to use. He figured out how to use it on his own, and it seems very easy to use. You can project your own image in it, or use a preset of things. There’s so many cool things this mask can do.

Eye holes where perfect but if you lose it it will be really hard to find

My mask came quickly and the box was in perfect condition. I do fingertutting and wanted a fun LED mask for some of the routines I do. This is perfect! Easy to set up app that allows you to change the mask to so many different settings. You can even take a picture of anything and set it to your mask. I absolutely love it and look forward to wearing it for my routines. I highly recommend!!

It’s a very cool mask at first mask, but as soon as I added my own batteries (Batteries are NOT included), the mask lit up and really brought out the mask. It comes with a cord that hangs on a battery pack with a clip to hook on your pants. It seems well made. My only tiny gripe, is I have long eye lashes and it touches the mask making it hard to see through the eyes of the mask. However, I made a small adjustment and it is exactly what I wanted. Thank you!

I bought this mask for myself! This mask is awesome! We are ready to party! After I installed the batteries , I tried and turned then on and made sure it worked properly. I am worried that it may be uncomfortable, but in fact it is not bad. It is not very thick snd come with silicon pad for the eyes (very comfortable!). You can breath normally, see things normally, and adjust the size of the mask strap. The most important thing for me is that I like it very much. The mask can be customised through the application Shining Mask, through following functions: user-programmable creation. uploading patterns, and a variety of patterns for selections. There is no doubt that people who like to go to parties, costume shows, music festivals, and Christmas can buy them, and they are more worth buying than ordinary glowing masks. I gave this cute mask 5 stars because it fully met my expectations. The LED patten on the mask in the dark looks cool!

I had money to burn and thought this was pretty neat. I bought it, got it connected, played with it, and still think it's pretty cool. My wife thought it was a waste of money and said, "what compelled you to buy that?" and I just said, "Though it was cool". Now after showing her, taking pics, and sharing with friends/family she says, "Yeah, it's cool."
