So I initially I was using a silicone suction bowl however, my 16mth old worked out how to unsuction it and tip out the breakfast cereal/attempt to drink the milk with 1/2 the cereal still in it. This bowl has a great suction and only comes off by lifting a small tab and breaking the suction. I do put that tab away from my little one just incase lol I now have control of when she can lift the bowl up to drink the milk, but she still tries to get it as the pic shows lol I highly recommend if you have a determined little one to seriously consider this bowl.

I love the bowl and the accompanying spoon! The bowl is smooth and made well. Same goes for the spoon. I‘m happy with my purchase!
