So far I have only taken two micro doses of this powder: first one was 170 mg and the second one was 310 mg. I am getting a feel for the strength of this mushroom. I know the ins and outs of neurobiology pretty well, studied and researched relentlessly to find the path to healing for my mind. Amanita Muscaria has helped to provide that path. Riddled with OCD and anxious thoughts, I believe at this point the true chemical side of things for these two issues mostly lie in a GABA/Glutamate imbalance. Prolonged stress and/or emotional/psychological abuse takes a toll on the mind. No psychoactive medicine will ever “fix” a person, but aid to help with the imbalances that have resulted from life’s difficulties, helps you to take a step back do the inward-looking work that has to happen to achieve true healing.

I started taking 500 mg of Fly Agaric on August 8th to reduce chronic back pain. It didn't work overnight, but gradually over about a week, it started to make a big difference. By day 8 or 9, my back felt better than it had in months. Unfortunately, I also felt very depressed and unfocused, and my sleep was disturbed. The psychiatrist who recommended this to me said it may have a bit of a down-regulating effect that is too much for me. I stopped taking it, and three days later, my mood is fine and my back hurts again. I hope others will not encounter this crummy trade-off.

This has ultimately replaced my SSRI with much better results (I weened off my SSRI completely before consuming amanita). I’m feeling more like me these days. It seems I have rediscovered my inner child and find myself more in awe at the simplicity around me. Life still isn’t perfect obviously, but I feel a buffer between my anger and negativity towards external factors that normally would have messed up my day. I have found one teaspoon (which has been measuring out to 1.4 grams) 2-3x a day is what clicks for me :)

Anxiety reduction, help to stay off alcohol, and pain reduction are tha main things I am gettinging from these mushroom. If you too are so inclined, I say go for it and proceed with caution. They have been good to me but remember, there are active chemical compounds in there that will definitely mess with your mind and body. Evidence of things like long term effects and at what dosage are scant, effects are widespread, and everyone's body is different. That being said, I am having a great time and plan to buy more.

I use 2.5 grams each night without processing it. I processed it for a while (boiling 30-45 minutes with lemon juice) and would take several grams a night, but the 2.5 grams without any processing (I just take it with water) is working well. I had one of my kinesiologists test me to find the right dosage for me, and to confirm it was good for me--I get pretty much all of my supplements tested kinesiologically this way. I think this is a high quality source, and I recommend it to my friends who struggle with insomnia.

This powder has been literally life changing for me. I have been microdosing with it, and the effect it has had on my day to day anxiety has been astounding. The last couple batches have been super finely the ground so I can only give it four stars. I liked it better when it was kind of a medium ground because you're able to smoke it easier, if you choose to do so. However, the quality is as good as ever so purchase knowing that you're getting a great product!

I'm thankful that it is sold in powder form because I didn't want a gelatin capsule since it wasn't vegan. The Aminita really talks to you. I would just advise buyers not to use marijuana while you take Aminita because the marijuana interfers with the messages from Aminita. Thank you again.
