This is great for people who like Flex disc but don't want to pay for the upkeep. But they seem to stain relatively quickly.

It's a little hard for me to get this in the correct position. I have used it for 2 cycles now. I have gotten better taking it out and not making a huge mess. Once I get it in correctly it doesn't leak unless I don't empty it in enough time based off of my flow.

They’re greatly made, flexible… but they kept coming out. I typically use disposable Softdisc and they’ve never come out. This is the first time I’ve purchased a reusable disc. Amazon was good about helping me with a refund without return… pretty sure no one wants a used disc 😆 wish these worked though.

I was skeptical to try it due to the review stating the disc was too soft. But it was so affordable, I decided to try anyway. The trick is simply to continue pinching while inserting. Fingertips probably have to go in as well. No problems after figuring that out. I don't feel the small size AT ALL, whereas I always felt the flex discs slightly (which is the size of these in Large). The thin silicone later is very soft and flexible and the whole thing is softer to the touch than Flex. I feel good about being sustainable.

I like these overall but they aren’t as good as the flex disc reusables. I will keep them to use as backups but they aren’t as flexible or easy to use and remove as flex ones.

These are great discs but I wish they had more capacity. I don’t know how these will do on my heavy days. Other than that I love how firm the rim is and how soft the silicone is. These are very comfortable! I do wish the basin had thicker material but I’d imagine it will last a good while. The small, which is what I ordered is in between a Lumma Disc small and medium. It’s similar to a June small disc. I am excited to finally find a disc that works for me. These are ready to use and ready to clean. Let’s just hope it works for sex. 🤞🏻

I love that it comes in a set of 2. It works great for leaks, but I don't get the easy dumping function like the Flex disc and I found it difficult to remove for the first 3 days. The edge is thick, but hard to grasp for removal. Good for the low price, but takes some time to "break in".

i am a user of the disposable menstrual discs, which i love (i use the brand, flex). i love the idea of reusable and sanitary menstrual products, and these are the most reasonably priced anywhere, so i'm super happy to say that they totally work for me and i no longer have to spend any money on menstrual products!! yayy!!for reference, i'm 19, sexually active, and have never been pregnant. i have been using this product for about three or four period weeks, and i noticed that this specific product does have some drawbacks that i don't experience when using my disposable discs. one, the soft texture makes it a little more difficult to insert the disc. not impossible, however, so its all good! however, this soft disc does not stay in place during sexual intercourse. this causes a mess and discomfort to my partner as he feels it come out of place and go deeper into me. it takes some effort to fish it out afterward, but i never feel any discomfort in any part of the process. this is not a feature i experience with my disposable discs, and i think it might also have something to do with the size. this product comes with two sizes, but they're smaller and larger than the Flex brand menstrual discs that give me no problems.overall i love this product and i will stick with it! happy to support a small, family owned business and reduce my cotton waste! could not recommend more! <3

i'm 49 no kids and petite, i read many reviews that small could be a better fit but i'm glad i ordered the 2 size package because the large feels more secure against the pelvic bone when the small did not. it was tight and uncomfortable against bone when first put in but after moving around a bit i no longer felt it. watch a video to get an idea of putting it in, it's still hard for my head to wrap around how it actually works when it feels like it shouldn't but it has been mostly an improvement using a disc instead of cup with zero leaks so far. no stem to poke out. the only downside of disc compared to cup is as soon as i grab this lip to remove it drips it's contents out, i'm still learning perhaps. getting messy hands is no big deal to me but it could definitely be an issue if you don't have a sink right next to you, i do so not a big deal for me, guess i'll have to use a small bucket of water next to me when i change apartments. you can go all day so not necessary to change in public. i am going through peri menopause hell with increased bleeding days so i decided to try this. i prefer the more eco friendly and safer leave in on a busy day. no more wasted tampons that can stick when dry, just pop in for a "just in case situation"- love that! since the cup leaked on my beginning crazy heavy first days i supplemented with OB Ultra, i'm hoping this is a better alternative. will update after more use but so far this is a win.

I was hesitant to try it and the possible mess rather than the easy throw away we’ve all known so long. But after wearing it for ~6mo this is actually amazing!!! I got a large after having 2 kids and my flow increasing. It fits well and holds enough for at least 12hours. When you go to the bathroom it empties itself, if you need to can absorb and wipe clean with toilet paper in a pinch and replace but there are additional items to purchase like collapsible wash containers to fill with water before going in a bathroom stall too should you need. I have severe cramps and this has helped curb it with the pressure where the disc gets placed. Truly a money saver, time saver, and stress/worry free. If your worried you can wear a liner to start but it’s worth the switch.

Still prefer my cup over the disk ... Maybe just need more time or maybe I need to try a different brand.. just the goal is to get through the day without leaks and messes.

They're really good quality, I've been using them for a few months now and they're great!

Just someone

I have very happily used the Instead cup (now Softdisc) for years. The set I'd been boiling forever was starting to develop cracks in the rim, so I decided to try something more officially reusable. I don't like the idea of a cup with a stem after using the disc style for so long, so I decided to give these a try. I chose the small/large set so I could see which worked better. I've used them for several cycles now, and am overall satisfied, but they are more difficult to use than the Softcup.I am in my 40s, and have had several kids vaginally. I'd say my flow is moderate (fairly heavy but not excessively so for the first two days, light after that). I find myself mostly sticking with the small, so age and childbirth status don't seem to have as much to do with size choice as with some other cups.As with the Softcup, I change it about every two hours on my heavy days, but can go much longer the rest of the cycle. I find the small easier to insert because it doesn't fold up as much, and since I prefer to rinse it every time I use the toilet when practical, holding a ton isn't my biggest priority. I would probably use the large if I were out of the house on my heavy days, especially if restroom/cleaning access was questionable. The Softcup occasionally leaked when something shifted things up internally. These seem less prone to that. In the several months I've been using them, I've had one leak, and I can't really even blame the cup for that. It was the small cup, I'd had it in for 12 hours overnight on my heaviest day, and I had totally forgotten my period even existed and was just going about my day. That's never happened before. So really, that speaks to the comfort more than anything. This staying in place does mean they don't "self-empty" when urinating, as people claim with the Softcups. Not a capability I personally used much, but I know it's a big deal for a lot of people.Because these are less rigid, I find them much harder to insert than the Softcup - they tend to just fold around the cervix rather than covering it. With the Softcup, I basically just had to push it back behind the pubic bone, and it would be in place. With these, I have to hook my finger into the far end of it and use it to push the far end over and behind the cervix, if that makes sense. You definitely need to feel comfortable poking around up inside. Removing can also be a bit more of a struggle. But you get used to it.The ridges around the rim of the cup tend to get stuff stuck in them and are kind of annoying to clean.I have not tried these during sex. I'm sure they would work fine, but they seem like they would be more noticeably there than the Softcup - the cup of the Softcup is cellophane-thin, while these are much thicker.

I used a reusable cup for 15 years. Last year I switched to a disposable disc, preferring them over the cup. This reusable disc fits even better than the disposable ones! I love it! And I love there’s a cute color that might prevent stains over the life of the disc. No shipment issues either.
