Gwen Cooper you did it again! "You are Pawsome" is just as sweet, tender, and charming and FUNNY as your previous books. The book also includes some very HELPFUL hints and insights into cat care, cat behavior (as well as their human parents) and cat/human relationships. Thank you Gwen, thank you for giving us another wonderful "read" that reflects your spunky over-the-top love of life, people and esp. CATS!

As usual, Gwen has a wonderful way with words. As a cat lover, so many stories were relatable and were presented in a witty and funny way. While this book is written in a different format than Gwen's normal writing, I thoroughly enjoyed each and every page. I'm not normally able to read much due to a variety of interruptions, this format allowed me to get through my first book in a long time that I didn't end up frustrated by having to reread previous parts to get back into the flow of the book. Thank you and look forward to your next book!

Gwen Cooper has written some of my favorite books of all time, and is one of my favorite authors. YOU are PAWSOME!: 75 Reasons Why Your Cats Love You, and Why Loving Them Back Makes You a Better Human is awesome, or should I say 'Pawsome'!! I enjoyed reading it so much! I can totally relate to most of it, lol! It's a fun read and I highly recommend it to all cat parents!

Fun light reading with the way the world is going today and a reminder the cats are the same loving entertaining furry friends that help keep you sane.

In a world filled with dogs, dogs, and more dogs, Gwen Cooper makes those of us owned by a clowder of cats feel seen. This book celebrates both us and our little furry bosses with anecdotes about her interactions with her cats that had me shaking my head and thinking "Yep, that totally happens here too!" If you have or have had a cat in your life this book is for you! And if you haven't read any of Gwen's other books you need to check them out also!

Being an inveterate cat person (currently living with four), and a lover of well-written cat literature, I've read nearly all Gwen Cooper's books. I find her takes on cats irresistible, whether she's writing about her legendary Homer or any of her other feline companions or even the novel Love Saves the Day, which I was skeptical about before I read it and was astonished at how well she pulled off a book narrated by a cat, without ever lapsing into cuteness or mawkishness. The woman can write (and she's got a great sense of humor to boot)! Just in time for the holidays, she now offers YOU are PAWSOME! the latest of her musings about cats and people, and it's a delightful romp through the realities of cat ownership (or guardianship since it's never clear who "owns" whom in these relationships). Anyone who's ever shared a home with a cat will relate to her warm, humorous vignettes. This book would make a wonderful, inexpensive gift for the cat lover(s) in your life, or even for yourself. It's a quick read but one you're apt to enjoy savoring again and again. Gwen GETS cats and the people who love them.

I've read other books by Gwen Cooper before, and they were wonderful, but this is one that every cat parent can relate to. I love how there aren't traditional chapters so it's easy to pick up and read a few reasons why YOU ARE PAWSOME without feeling pressure to finish a few more pages. And the topics. Who among us hasn't given up an entire weekend afternoon because we didn't dare move and disrupt the adorable slumber of our favorite furry companion? But my personal favorite reason why my cat loves me...Doody-butt!!! It's like someone has been spying on me and then decided to put their notes in this book. It really makes me feel better knowing that other cat parents are having the same experiences and feeling that I am. We're not alone, and this book proves it.

Reading the new book “You Are Pawsome!” by Gwen Cooper really made me aware just how lucky we cat parents are to be loved by our little fur babies! Everything she writes rings true- from how we don’t move a muscle when our kitties are sleeping on us to how much we love them just they way they are, no matter what. Gwen has wonderful insight on the special bond between a cat and its owner. The book was a really enjoyable read! Totally Pawsome!
