I've read every book Gwen has written and loved them all! Homer's Odyssey was my favorite until I made the acquaintance of Prudence... Prudence just captured my heart and held it tight! What a wonderful and touching story, even if it is fiction! I'd give it six stars if I could!

This book is a tremendously emotional book. Told from a cat’s perspectives, it details the loves and relationships in our lives.

I love this book. So unique having the story told from the cat's point of view. Warning - it's incredibly sad in some places (tissues needed!) but so uplifting in other places. Very glad I bought this book, highly recommended if you love cats or just love a well-written story.

Great book, loved the way the cat Prudence gives her account of things from when she was rescued in New York. A very real life story. I cried when Prudence ate a bouquet of lillys and became very ill on the verge of death. Love did save the day. Highly recommend especially if you are a cat lover.

Love Saves the Day is on my list of all-time favorite books. Being a cat lover, this was a very emotional book for me and the ending brought me to tears.

It is a hard to put down novel, wonderful story and beautifully written. And it leaves me wondering what my boys think about that blue mat with the smiling cartoon cats under their bowls.

Since I'm a cat lover any story true or fiction I love reading about cats.

This type of book is greatly needed in these times of difficulty, politically, spiritually, physically (in terms of health and Covid) and also needed because it is a great story, very readable and really captures why we so love our pets!

The writing in this novel is so true that I had to stop reading the book for a day or two, because, unlike the people in this book, I know that lilies are toxic to cats. I became so inconsolable at one point that I had to take a break even before I discovered how that one particular event was resolved. A number of other emotional events occurring around the same time in the narrative had a profound effect upon me. That is the highest compliment that I can give to a book - when a book is so well written that it moves me to outright laughter or tears. This book did both.

What a great book with such great insights into cats, people and New York!

I just love this book! Written partly from the cat's point of view and partly from her new human owner, this book really had me from the beginning. Very sweet story. Love Gwen Cooper.

I loved this book. It made me laugh and cry. Being A cat person, and a Beatles fan, it really is a great read. I did not know the story about the apartment house, but l dont understand the greed that brings such sadness.

The story is so beautiful. It’s heartwarming, touching, and i will return to it again and again. I recommend it whether or not you are a cat lover. If you are a person with a heart, you will enjoy it.
