Awesome book.

Really lovely touching story by Gwen Cooper. It has everything...laughs, tears and a terrific read. Bought two more copies for my cat loving daughters. It's so different as it's written from the cats perspective. 5 stars easily

Gwen is a wonderful author. I couldn't put Love Saved the Day down. Her other books are equally wonderful. If you love cats you will enjoy reading Loves Saves the Day.

A heartwarming story of love as told from a cats perspective, proving cats are more than just “pets”. One of my favorites. I love all of Gwen’s books and have been a big fan since I first found Homers Odyssey her story telling us from the heart and always entertaining and will never disappoint.

When I read this book, I thought I was reading a cat book. It was. Prudence, the cat, is everything we love about cats. Sweet, sassy, appalled at a humans lack of basic lack of manners, etc. Much of the book is in Prudence's view-point. However, it is so much more than a cat book. It was so much deeper than I thought it would be. I wasn't expecting the emotions it would evoke. Gwen Cooper has a way of building a genuine appreciation for what the characters experienced and felt in their past and present. This is a book I will always recommend and definitely re-read. 5 stars.

Gwen does a really good job telling the story through the eyes and heart of Prudence. I found it comforting and helpful dealing with my own loss of one of my cats that I had an exceptionally close bond with. Thank you Gwen for giving us this story!

I have the hardcover copy of Love Saves the Day, and it is one of my favorite books of all time! I touched me very deeply. I love that the book is written from the point of view of Prudence the cat. I'm always wondering what my cats are thinking and how they see their life with me. Love Saves the Day made me laugh and cry a lot! I look forward to re-reading the new version! I highly recommend this book!!

Very sweet story written by a wonderful author who knows exactly how to channel the cat's point of view. The "human" layer of a complicated mother/daughter relationship was also captivating and well-crafted. Definitely would recommend, especially to cat lovers.

I've been a huge fan of Gwen's since Homer's Odyssey, so when I found this book I knew I was meant to read it. Loves Saves the Day hit at the right moment in my life, I had just lost my Mom and we were taking care of her cockatoo. I felt Pepper was one of the last links to my Mom, as Prudence is Laura's llink to her mother Sarah. I love the relationship between Sarah and Laura as told from Prudence's point of view, and how some things we humans do horrify Prudence. This book is about finding your way, mending broken relationships, and doing it all with a feline by your side. I'm super excited to read the updated version when it's released. If you're a cat lover and fascinated by the human/feline bond, this book is for you! I find myself reading and re-rreading it over and over again. I couldn't put it down the first time I read it. Gwen tells a compelling story and leaves you wanting more.
