Kills bacteria and virus when used correctly. Best product for granite and quartz countertops.
I have used this product (or another from the same company packaged in a different bottle) for 5 years. I had just gotten my kitchen remodel done and have quartz countertops. The manufacturer said not to use bleach or vinegar to clean the countertops so I looked for something that would sanitize them. I found this product.I clean up with soap and water then just spray this on, leave it sit for a few minutes. Then wipe up any that's left. To really sanitize, the product needs to be left on the surface for 10 minutes. That's the time that bleach, Lysol, vinegar etc needs to kill of bacteria and viruses so this is no different.FYI, all the people who are "sanitizing" the counters and shopping carts, door handles, etc right now with covid-19 aren't really doing anything except cleaning. Unless they are leaving the solution on the surface, wet for 10 minutes, they aren't killing of all the virus. They can wipe some away if they use a clean rag, paper towel, etc but they ARE NOT KILLING THE VIRUS!Anyway, back to this product. I use it in my bathroom and also for my CPAP mask, tubing, etc. After I clean with soap and water I just spray this and leave it. I try to keep my CPAP equipment wet for the 10 minutes, then hang it up to air dry. This product doesn't leave any residue behind. It doesn't leave any streaks on the surfaces. It's safe enough for use in the nursery but Strong enough for kitchen, bath, and CPAP.It's listed with EPA to kill viruses and bacteria. It doesn't have anything in it to clean up stains, markers on the walls, crayons, oil stains, paint, etc so for that type of cleaning you will need another product but for everyday cleaning that needs to be sanitized, this is the best on the market.
