TLDR; Excellent pair of jeans, fit extremely well and are very comfortable. I use these every day now. I got these jeans a bit over a year and a half ago and I’ve worn them almost every day since. I’ve only ever had fast fashion jeans before, think Hollister, Ambercrombie and American Eagle prior to this. I did try some nicer pairs on but nothing felt like much of an improvement. After learning of these jeans and speaking with the owners, I tried on a pair which I didn’t like so the pair was exchanged and boy was my world changed. The Chieftains just felt perfect. I used these jeans for almost everything, definitely nice enough for semi casual events, riding my motorcycle, travel and a lot of every day moments. The instructions for real denim were very helpful. I even washed these jeans in saltwater in Mexico and did a sand wash. They do bleed a little bit give that vintage look after a while. I’m excited to see how long these last as they appear to be very very well made and will definitely outlast any of the jeans I’d purchased prior. These jeans are now a staple piece for my wardrobe and I hope they will be for you as well.
