I initially placed an order (after seeing Lindner Socks segment on Better Homes & Gardens) for just the one pair of Max Thick Merino socks for my son to see if he liked them. He is very fussy about socks. He is NSW Driver Trainer for a large transport company/heavy haulage, so his socks get quite a workout. He said they are the best socks he has ever worn. So comfortable. He loved them so much we placed another order for the 7 pack bundle. He wears the socks everyday and they more than live up to the product description. My son has said he wouldn't bother buying any other sock brand and more importantly, we need to support small Australian companies when they manufacture products superior to the cheap imports. I had heard of Lindner socks and decided to give them a try as I always try to buy Australian wool. I have now had a pair of Max thickness loose knit top socks for 2 years and they do not look like wearing out. In contrast thick woolen socks I purchased at the same time from the Bendigo sheep show now have large holes in each big toe. My Lindner socks have been everywhere most often used for hiking and golf and I am amazed how good they are still.

Was skeptical at first of paying $40 for a pair of socks. I was also a bit worried about the socks not fitting properly as my size lies exactly between S and M. Went with size M and it fits perfectly well. Tip: if your size is also on the borderline, go with the larger size. As for the socks themselves, they are VERY very comfortable to wear. Perfect for Melbourne winters! Will order more for friends, family, and myself :D

So after having read various comments, I purchased two pair of socks and as promised they arrived pretty quick.Did the pre wear wash and so far they are pretty good and comfy. Went for the next size up as I'm on the end of the size scale before and they shrunk a little to end up just right. I'm pretty sure these socks will outlast any other types I've previously worn and look forward to many wears of these sockies.

Bought for my hubby who is very suspicious if I buy something he hasn not pre-approved, haha, but he loves these socks. Wears them as house-socks instead of ugg-boots and couldn't be happier with the warmth, quality and comfort. These are the best socks we have ever worn. Living in Tasmania we have tried a lot of socks, these are the warmest and most comfortable socks of all. Beautifully made I am sure they will outlast all others. Delivery was swift and customer service was excellent. Will definitely be getting more to replace the inferior socks bought over the years. I contacted Lindners regarding my sock requirements, they promptly got back to me and I purchased these socks. They are everything they said they would be, and I am very very happy with them. So happy that I am getting rid of my old socks and will be putting in another order this week. Fantastic customer service to boot!

Walked past and saw the shop and went in and spoke to the staff and bought a couple pairs of these socks. I have tried all sorts of socks, I use to like the explorer socks, tried the bamboo socks. l've wasted so much money on a draw full of socks l hate putting on. Till now ,Max Thick Merino are the best for work boots , you can tell when your going for the same pair each day They refit easy pull on every time , l hate fitting tight socks So impressed l'm the whole family at least 1 pair each

I first purchased these socks 2 years ago and have just recently replaced them with another 5 pairs. Wearing work boots every day all year in Melbourne weather in these socks is very comfy. I'm so impressed we still have Australian Made products and service this good. Definitely worth supporting!!

My socks arrived really quickly and are a great fit. They are super comfortable and will work well for hiking and warm tootsies in the winter! Have already recommended them to friends for hiking and they are impressed after trying mine on. Mine are still soft after a wash too. About to order more.

I bought 2 pairs to start with for my partner to trial. He�s a tradie and is on his feet all day. He absolutely loved these socks, so I came back and bought another 3! He finds them supportive and they breathe well. Don�t see anything else on his feet now!
