My elderly mother is using this as a foot rest under a table she sits at a lot. Over the years she has a lot of her height and this rest is simply perfect for her to place her feet when sitting. She says they are a nice mix of firm and soft. The material is nice in that her feet don't slip when resting on this. Definitely appreciative of this foot rest. I hope this helps you.

I purchased this to replace what I have had for a couple years. I like the incline, it's pretty neat and comfy. Not too firm a bit plushy, and the soft cover is nice feeling on your feet. If you can deal with the slight incline, I recommend, the comfort is there.

I recently read that a foot rest was recommended if you worked long hours at a computer. This one is soft, but firm enough to give support. It will take some time to see if it makes a difference.
