I had ankle surgery and needed to be on bedrest with my ankle up for 2 weeks straight! This saved me. It was very comfortable. I used it after the 2 weeks as well to help keep the swelling down. It was a great purchase that made recovery much easier.

This cushion has firm support, a channel to help position your leg and it doesn't 'travel' around the mattress at night. It is bulky but lightweight. Definitely worth and way better than couch or bed pillows.

I sent this to my son who had just broken his ankle and had surgery. Of course, he needs the elevation for a while. I can't say enough about how much I love this pillow! I have been recovering for over a month from a torn acl, a torn meniscus, a fractured tibia, a displaced kneecap and blood clots. This all requires my leg be elevated and I really struggled to get comfortable until I got this pillow. I actually cried happy tears when I used it the first time because I had instant relief of pain and was able to find a much more comfortable position to lay down and actually get some rest to heal.
