Years ago, I fractured my tailbone and as I have gotten older that old pain has started act up again. Finding this wedge seat cushion has helped alleviate some of the pain I experience when sitting down for long periods of time, especially in cars. It has a handle on the side so it is easy to carry which is helpful when I know I will be going in a different vehicle. These cushions are extremely helpful when you have post-surgery, hemorrhoids, back pain, leg pain, tailbone, coccyx, or sciatica pain. The angled seat cushion is soft but also firm enough along with the cutout Coccyx (the U shape in the back) to put you in the proper position to take the pressure off your tailbone. Before getting this cushion my lower body, tailbone would freeze up in pain and I would have to walk it out. Now with this cushion I can avoid all that suffering. I give this cushion 5 stars and a big thank you.

All I could think when I first sat on this cushion was "gosh darn this sure is comfortable!" I've purchased plenty of memory foam pillows and they range from firm to not much better than cotton fill. These are way firmer (not hard though) than any pillow I've used. I'm glad it is as firm as it is because it's taking nearly the full body weight on it. After a few minutes first sitting on it, I don't even notice it was there; I just felt comfortable. I didn't get this for any pain issues, so I can't speak to that. I got it because my car seat sits so low and seems to be less supportive as time goes on. With this pillow, it's like a whole different experience driving now! I feel comfortable and I have a better field of view. I was reluctant to get this because it seemed expensive for a bum pillow, but I was drawn in by the positive reviews. I can say it is definitely worth the price.

I have a Prius and we go on long road trips once or twice a year. This cushion has saved me from a lot of the discomfort and pain I usually experience from spending long periods of time in the car. It fits snug in my car's smaller seats, and elevates me enough that I actually don't have to bump my seat up at all while driving, and I am a shorty at 5' nothing. That said, it makes my husband too tall in our small car, which is fine for me, I just move it to whatever seat I am in and we are good to go. Just be aware that while it fits great in smaller cars, it might provide too much height if you are average height or taller or limited on adjusting your seat.

Comfortable and supportive: I ordered this seat cushion to add some extra support to one of my outdoor chairs. The cushion itself is memory foam, easily moved around and the perfect blend of softness + firmness. Plus, despite not having the same contours of other, similar seat cushions, is perfectly comfortable and supportive. Easy to clean: This product has an easily removed outer covering that can be unzipped (see pic) and washed quickly and with little hassle. Overall, this is a great seat cushion and I would definitely recommend.
