To give a bit of background for my review. I bought this due to needing this for my flatfoot reconstruction surgery. I have used this everyday since my surgery on September 9, 2021. After I got home that day from surgery I was placed on bed rest and needed to keep my foot elevated with this pillow. I was on bed rest for 6 weeks and I’m currently in physical therapy. Now on to the review. I can honestly say that this pillow is great. I had to sleep on my back to keep my foot from coming out of it at night, I find that if I lay on my side my foot comes out of it. It has held its form through it all. I would suggest placing a flat sheet or thin t-shirt on top of it if you will be in a fiberglass cast like me. I was in a soft padded split for two weeks, and then two fiberglass cast for two weeks each. The fiberglass cast catches on the material of the cover and causes it to pile so I had to cut the piling off with scissors. I have washed and dried the cover several times in my washer and drier, it was easy to take off and put on the pillow each time. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with it. I still use it even though I am no longer on bed rest. I highly recommend it.

I had surgery on my ankle the day before I bought this. I was unable to sleep and was in a lot of pain. So, not being able to take anymore I went to Amazon and looked for a pillow that could help. I looked at soooo many and finally decided on the leg elevation pillow. I choose this one mainly because it could get here as early as 7am! ( I was desperate! Lol) The pillow got here and it was packaged very well. My son helped me take it out and at first it was a little flat. It started to perk up pretty quickly and was AH-mazing!! It helped all the swelling go down and I actually was able to sleep! I have been using it for a few days and I LOVE it! It’s light enough for my 4 year old to carry it down stairs but also sturdy enough to take her and her little brother using it as a launch pad while I am getting up. I love the handles! They make it super easy to move around by myself. I sleep with my foot up all night long and it is super comfortable. My little ones spilled water on it and it dried beautifully. Literally the best purchase! I absolutely recommend this product if you just had surgery and need your leg elevated above your heart. Zero regrets!

This wedge pillow has been a game changer for me at night! I use my regular pillow on top of it so basically the wedge is an inclined mattress. I had been having terrible heartburn during the middle of the night and would have to use multiple pillows to try and prop myself up to help with it. One night I had a terrible episode of acid reflux and I couldn’t fall back to sleep after feeling like my throat was on fire so I started searching on Amazon for a pillow to help with it. I found this one and have had it for about two weeks now and I have not had even one night of heartburn since using it! That is incredible for what I had been experiencing before! It took a few nights to get used to the angle of it but now my body has figured it out and I think I sleep better altogether with it. My husband has not noticed me snoring either since I’ve been using it! That has been an unexpected positive effect as well. I was thinking before I bought this that I would need to invest in an expensive mattress that I could angle to sleep on an incline. No need for that now! It seems to stay put while sleeping too. This is totally worth the $40!!!

Very comfortable pillow or "wedge" as the hospital lady said. After I got out of the hospital, she called me at home the first day afterward and urged me to get this. During the week I was in the hospital for a leg inflection, the staff kept trying to keep my leg up by piling up regular bed pillows. But they always fell down and often very soon after. Very troublesome, especially at night. But after I got this body pillow all that stops. This is amazingly well designed, and the dimensions, the angle of slope are just right. Yes, I am a tall not much overweight guy, but there is room for smaller, heavier people. Surprisingly soft, easy to assemble, it stays clean and I still have not had to wash the cover yet.
