My stock brakes on my 2017 XXL Santa Cruz Hightower CC 27.5+ "fattie" with ENVE wheels, i9 hubs, and stock SRAM rotors would HONK / GROAN / SQUEAL randomly. They also needed a LOT of squeeze to get them to work, and faded on long descents. VERY annoying. Mike at The Path suggested these would be a big improvement and he was AbSoFreakinLutely correct !!! They're much quieter, need a LOT less hand strength, and should eliminate the stock SRAM brakes fading on long descents. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!!
