I run the Dissector as a rear on all my bikes. I prefer braking over rolling resistance. This means I usually run tires that have nice flat, large backside braking knobs. I don't usually drag my brakes but run hard into corners and slam the brakes on. The DHR II may brake better than the Dissector, but I believe this is a nice compromise between rolling resistance and my preferred braking ability. I am not a small guy and these tires stand up to the punishment. Recently did a guys ride week to Southern Utah and then off to Moab and never flatted even though I scraped the sidewalls pretty hard a few times and was waiting for the Stan's to come pouring out. If you can find 'em, buy 'em!
