18 Months, 750 miles Review
12/01/2023: 18 months since I bought a pair of 700x28 slicks for my single speed and after putting over 750 miles on the tires, I love them and can certainly say that I am switching all my bikes to Tannus tires. At first, they felt a bit too "solid" where I could feel every single crack and rock on the road. It is supposed to take about 60-70 miles for them to break-in; but i think it was at 250+ miles mark that they felt like regular tires - or maybe I just got used to it. Also, not having to carry a patch kit (pump, inner tube, tire levers, Co2 cartridges) is a nice added bonus.
INSTALLATION: It takes work to get them in the rim so make sure to check all the necessary measurements (Tannus are very good at returns though). Once the installed, though, they don't move. I think i will have to cut it to take it off.

700c X 28 tire came with X 20 pegs. Much too small to use. I'm having to ride without them.

500+ miles, one spike later
I got my first set of Tannus solid tires nearly 3 months and 60+ rides ago. They are great. I never worry about a flat, and they honestly don't feel any different from what I had been used to with tubed tires. In other words, I didn't feel any weight difference. Normally, in this (summer) time of riding, I would have gone through at least one new tube and one new tire (plus multiple patches). But now...none of that. I ride on paved roads in the Appalachian mountains, and these are great. And just the other week, I was riding when I suddenly felt something "klicking" under me. I stopped, and I saw this 2-inch spike (flat-sided, no-head flooring nail) sticking out of my Tannus tire. I got a pair of pliers, pulled it out (about 3/4 inch was outside the tire, about 1-1/4 inch inside!), and I really couldn't even see where the nail had been. I got back on, went on to complete my ride, and have ridden another half-dozen times (so far). With the Tannus tire, that nail never happened!

Road bike tires
Excellent product (again) from Tannus. I have a Savva bike used for triathlons and long road runs. It is wonderful to not have to worry about fixing or replacing a flat. They are not super easy to install, but very study when done. I will definitely be buying products from Tannus again!

Semi-Slicks Do the Trick!
I swapped my regular tires for my commuter bike. They work great, and I hardly notice a difference. It took me a while to figure out the best way to get the tires on. I recommend buying the S-tool as it has a special way to leverage the tire onto the rim. Also, letting the tire sit in the sun for 10-15 minutes makes it much easier. Lisa in customer service was very helpful in recommending the right tires for my rims as I was not sure of the measurements. I ordered a pair for my wife's bike since she cycles to work.

Love these tires
This is my second set of these tires. I have not even swapped them out yet after riding them for five years. Having never had a flat and never having to pump tires in five years has been so wonderful! That's why I bought another set and will always use these.

Saving my Wallet
I bike around Albuquerque, NM where sandbur thorns are commonly found on the roads. I bought a pair of the 700x28 Semi-Slicks after going through 3 inner tubes in less than a month. These solid tires have already paid themselves off by the replacement tubes I haven't had to buy. Now the rides are not as comfortable as a traditional air-filled tire and I have to work a little harder peddling on inclines, but I don't really mind that, and from all the sandburs that these tires have already picked up that would have caused me to have a flat, I can't complain. These tires have given me peace of mind and are saving me money in the long-term.

600 miles and 12 months later: No flats!
I bought a set of 700x28 @110PSI a year ago for my single speed bike and they are great, so this my review: Installation was a bit hard to get the tire into the rim and it took a bit of effort since it has to be tight. They replaced tires that ran at 100PSI so at first, you can feel every crack, stone, or any debris that you roll over. The recommend breakdown period is 80 miles, but to me it was after 300 miles that it stopped noticing these...or maybe I just used to. I ride on the road along with traffic 95% of the time so I'm often forced to roll over whatever debris are flushed off to the side, so having not to worry about getting a flat frees my mind to focus on navigating the road. I love the fact that I don't have to carry a spare tube and a pump anymore. They guarantee these tires up to 5000 miles. Being and avid biker, I put 600 miles in one year, so this might very well be the last set of tires Ill buy. I'm switching all my bikes to Tannus tires as the current pneumaticntitea wear off.

After 2 years, I'll never go back to air
I bought these after taking on a work commute that was about 20 miles rt on Chicago roads full of detritus and potholes, and having no time or energy to deal with flats. While I definitely broke a sweat getting them on, I did so in one evening without buying a special tool. The tires changed riding. I don't have to look at the road anymore to watch for bits of glass and divets and I can pay more attention to what's going on in traffic. I also don't have to carry a bunch of tools with me when I go out, just in case. They've done well on my fixed gear through winters and summers, whether they were ridden daily or left sitting in a garage for a few weeks, then ridden heavily again. I'm getting another set just to have around. If there has been a speed reduction, I haven't really noticed it, though I never kept my tires extremely inflated.

Choosing, Tannus tires, was the best decision I made, in buying bike tires!
Tires arrived super fast, installation for me was easier than anticipated, took me under an hour for both tires!
The experience riding on new tires is awesome, occasionally a little hard on the bumps, but not as as bad as I thought it would be on airless tires! Over-all super thankful to be done with flats!!!
PS, Making sure 14-16 inner rim width is the right size, is crucial, so take a moment and take accurate measurements. I am saying this because I almost ordered the wrong size. Tannus new Slick 16-18, would not have fit my rim.

Peace of mind
Can't tell you how much I love these tires. I have two sets that I primarily use for training and group rides for the past 2 years. The relief of not having to worry about checking the air before a ride, making sure that I have flat kit, obsessing over tire pressure, and worrying if I'm dropping pressure mid ride, is immeasurable. You just hop on and ride. If you're on the fence about getting a set of these, just grab a set and try them out. With them now having it to where you can buy them already set up on wheels, it makes installation super easy.

Tannus airless tires are the best.
I got a set of Tannus airless tires after watching some videos and talking with Tannus.
I will say they were quite hard to get installed. I was able to get them on the rim using zip ties which came from a separate video, that part was more or less the easy part.
Once I got them on latching the little pegs in was the part that was rough.
I am super glad I got the P tool or I may have flipped a table trying snap them in. I think the P tool should be standard.
Once I got them on and snapped in it was magic.
I hopped on and took a ride in 112 degree heat to see how they ride on the hot asphalt which I was worried about. They did not get squishy at all. I was impressed.
After riding them this weekend, I do not think I will ever go back to pneumatic tires, goat heads and my tires do not get along.

I cannot express the love I have for these tires! Sounds dramatic but believe me I have been to 8+ bike shops and have gone through at least 20 tubes in the past 5 years... I even made the decision to stop riding for a couple years because my tires gave me so much heartache. It’s funny how a “tire” can restore my ability to ride again haha. Thanks Tannus! I’ve already recommended you to many friends! Now I can finally go on tours again!

Installing on 700c Mavic Open Pro rims
These are a bear to get on the rims, I put them on last night and I'm a little sore this morning.
The best way I found to install them, get all of the plastic retention pins installed in the tire. With the rim standing up start back side of tire into top of rim. Snap 3 or 4 pins into the rim to hold in place. With the provide tool start working the tire around the rim like you would do to install a normal tire using tire levers. Once tire is stretched around the rim, you can use the provided tool to snap all of the top side pin into place, as the pins snap in place push down on tire and you will feel the bead lock into place. Then turn the tire over and you will have to snap the first 3 or 4 pin you started with from the opposite side of the tire. Then inspect all the pins on both side to make sure they are all lock into the rim. This review is for how they install. I will write another review for how the tires perform on the road once I get a chance to take them for a spin. So far I like them, just know it is a work out to get them installed. I wouldn't want to do that every day.

Absolute win on a handcycle!
I am paraplegic and ride a trike handcycle. Getting off my bike onto the ground and fixing a flat is getting harder and harder to do as my body ages. I put these tires on my bike a bit over 2,000 miles ago. LOVE THEM. The piece of mind these tires give me is beyond my ability to express. Just amazing.

4 month review
TLDR: these are fantastic
I ordered these about 4 months ago and figured I would wait to give a full review. Out of the box these are fantastic for a commuter tire, no more filling them with air, no more punctures, no more worrying about flattening the rear tire because of the added groceries weight, just install them and move on. The installation process was a little time consuming because of the pins, but I've had regular tires that were harder to put on, budget about 20 minutes/one beer per tire. Getting them on the tire can be a little tricky, but I ended up using the zip tie they came with to hold one side on and it was much easier, also the rubber is stretchy which helps, otherwise a friend would be a good idea. Once they pins click in place these arent going anywhere, including I am pretty sure off of the rim, I think you would have to cut it off if you ever wanted to remove it. The other review are correct that it has a slick coating for the first 100 miles, But I was able to remove it super quickly by doing a few laps along a gravel road so if you have one available that is an option. Ride quality wise they are a little stiff at first, but an equivalent sized gatorskin tire is much worse and these get a little softer after the break in period. The only downside I have noticed is that during cornering because they dont deform to the road they will slide out a little earlier then a regular tire, but for commuter purposes you shouldnt be cornering that hard anyway and at 40mm they are wide enough you shoudnt worry unless you are trying to race on them. I put them on an ebike so I am not sure but I also suspect these have a higher rolling resistance compared to other tires but I have not noticed because of the motor. Overall I have put almost 700 miles on them over gravel, bike path and road and there has been no deformation and minimal wear. The only things I would suggest changing would be to make the design a little more grippy, and to wait for the color choice you want. But if you are looking for a fire and forget commuter tire these are it. Honestly I'm not even sure where my bike pump is at this point.
