    Tannus Armour Tire Liners

I hit a pothole or a pole. I don’t know it was dark, but my tire never went flat. I drove 3 miles home looked at it and I couldn’t believe it. These things are a must have. These are so worth it.if you hate having to change a tire like me you will want theses.I went 900 miles on my E bike with not one flat before I got one at least every 100 miles.

Used on my son's RadRunner fat tire e-bike, several weeks later I was checking out his bike. I noticed construction staples stuck into the rear tire. (see pitures) no big deal, they were no long enough to go through the foam to the tube. I also removed 10-15 "goathead" stickers from each tire. Again, no big deal tubes un-touched, bike running fine. We run the tires at lower pressures, he has a smoother ride, and well, no punctures since adding them. Make sure you follow the Mfgr.'s instructions of replacing your tubes with smaller ones when installing. If not the full size tubes may compact the foam liner vastly decreasing it's effectiveness. Smaller tubes leave room for the foam to stay non-compacted and do it's job.

First thing i will say it's a damn struggle to put it on the rim but seem it will do the job especially in the streets Update: i bought since august- dec 25th it does help against thorn and industrial staples but won't against thick sharp object not only that you need a new tires cause a worn out tires will pierce I'll recommend to buy it

Been using Tannus Inserts on my heavy fat ebike for over 2 years without a flat. So I bought another set for my other bike. Especially on bigger ebikes you water the extra protection Tannus flat guard inserts offer. Works great! 👍

    WOW!!!!

WOW! I immediately noticed how much softer my ride is and can feel a real flow difference on my commutes! I converted stingray chopper into an ebike and caught a flat on my back 20x4.5" tire. Upon my first ride after install it's like riding on a pillow!!! The smoothness as I go over bumps is insanely soft and such a great piece of mind to know I have added puncture protection! I am officially a tannus family member super fan! Wish I found this sooner, 11/10, this is superb quality and worth EVERY penny!!! Do yourself a favor and grab these NOW!!!

I totally love the tannus armor. Bike feels more stable and softer whenever I go on rough terrain, I. An barely feel the rocks and roots. I can lower the air on my tires all the way to 13-15psi for better grip. Highly recommend this product. Bike feels slightly heavy with this but is not that noticeable at all.

    Tannus Armour Tire Liners

I bought my e-bike and got 4 goathead flats in the first week. Since I have installed these and over a year later I have put over 1K miles on them without a flat. Highly recommend! I have read that when many people get a flat with these because they ran over a 1 inch + screw or nail straight into their tire. They said when they took the tube out the insert was very compressed and almost flat. They get compressed by the air pressure over time and get squeezed down in size. Resolution…….. every once in a while when you will not be riding you bike for a few days, deflate the tires. If they have been compressed, this will allow them to bounce back to their original size.

    My Neo Speed.

I did a self install of my Armour inserts and found it relatively easy to do after watching a few tutorials. I run a 27.5" x 2.6" All surface road/trail tire and now have inserts in both tires. The anxiety of a side of the road repair is now gone, and I ride much easier now. I am running the tires and inserts/tubes at 27.5 psi and have a very smooth ride.

    Amazing liner

I installed these and my bike feels lighter. It flows so nicely now. I ride 6-12 hours and I can definitely feel the difference with these liners installed. I will definitely get more for my other bikes. We'll worth every penny.

Inserts on both my e-bike and trailer

These inserts are awesome!! I was averaging a flat every week on my bike since I got it in February 2024, but I haven’t had one since getting my inserts about a month and a half ago! So I decided that my trailer should have them too!💯👍

    The Fix

I was struggling with burping my bead and have my tire fold over my wheels in tight corners with a tubeless setup and pinch flats on a tubed setup. In order to fix either one of those, I had to run very high PSI, which made my bike bounce off of smaller bumps and difficult to control in corners. These Tannus inserts fixed all of that! No pinch flats! No tire rolling over my rim! These inserts allow me to run the pressure I want to run! They are THE FIX for all my tire issues!

    No more flats!!!

I converted to Tannus Armor about one year ago. I've ridden over thorns, broken glass, metal scraps, and hundreds of goat heads. No flats at all! I have convinced most of my riding buddies to do the same and none of them have had any flats either.

I've been abusing these inserts for 5,000 miles with 0 flats

If there's another Rambo sequel they'll be naming it "Armour." I live on gravel roads in Kansas (relatively close to the Dirty Kanza route for you gravel racing nuts.) Out here "gravel" actually means 0.5 - 1.5" rocks. On top of the gravel, my setup sporting the inserts is a ridiculously heavy electric bicycle I run at high speeds (30mph+) continuously. The inserts are running inside Schwalbe "Fat Frank" tires with kevlar sidewall protection. With all the abuse I've thrown at them they just won't die. 5,000 miles deep and not a single flat. The only tire pressure adjustment the bike has seen is due to cold weather. I'm quite certain I've violated nearly all of Tannus' recommendations and even so they still keep coming back for more. I'm not sure I even remember how to change a fat tire now and I'd like to keep it that way. If I had another one, I'd give these inserts 3 thumbs up. PS: Quick note to my fellow electric cyclists. You might be here reading this because you're non-negotiable when it comes to flats in the field. As am I. With a range of 30 miles and limited cell service; having a flat isn't ok. I'm also running Tannus Razorblades(airless) on a separate electric bike. The Armour inserts and the Razorblades have identical 0 flat track records. Love them both. The upside of the Armour inserts is being able to adjust pressure for different applications with and no explanation is required for how important rolling resistance is in terms of torque and efficiency.

    Easy!

I hesitated getting these because I'd seen complaints from others on the interwebz that they were hard to install and added too much weight to the bike. I did the math and saw they only add a tiny bit of weight and remembered *some people* are gram weinies and want their bikes to be made of angel dust or something else magical and remembered *some other people* complain about everything, first world probz, and consider just about everything to be too hard. I snapped out of it and placed the order. Out of the box, the Armour's are made of tough material, soft and sponge-y and strong and light as air and were easy to install. I had no issues with their fitment at all, it's really not much different than changing a tube. In fact, I had to do one of them twice (I realized I got the tread on the first tire backwards). So after having installed THREE I can honestly say it wasn't any big deal at all. And my bike doesn't feel noticeably different than before, weight or ride. I'm just glad I have that protection now. The reduction of flat anxiety is worth the investment and effort. Glad I did this instead of pumping stupid, messy, expensive slime in my tires, something that has a lower success rate and requires regular refills. The Armours are a smart, one-time investment and are maintenance-free. What's the problem? At this time I see no reason to give any less than a FIVE STAR rating. Will update the review if they don't perform as expected.
