I just used the swig rig through 60 miles of hiking in the last two weeks (30 with an daypack and 30 backpacking). Great system with zero leaks. It was easy to remove and install between different bags or while filtering water into the bottle and track my water intake. I used 48oz nalgenes with the swig rig attached to one and the second one ready to refill. The system was much better than using bladder systems like I have in the past, and integrated well with my backpacks’ built in hose routing systems. The only drawback is that the balance of the backpack would shift as I drank water because I had the nalgenes in the external side pockets (as opposed to a bladder which is usually centered in the bag). It was an expected and negligible drawback which was outweighed by the convenience and lack of leaks in the system.

Great Rig, Easy to clean if you also buy the cleaning attachment. Great customer service, all around recommend this company and their quality products.

This is such a clever thing! My 8 yo daughter loves the idea of drinking from a water pack of some kind and all of ours are a awful to clean and keep spilling. The swig rig -wide mouth fits on our glass lifefactory water bottles. It's marvelous, my daughter's water isn't sitting for hours in plastic, everything is easy to clean, there is no spilling. The straw that comes with it can be cut to any length so this can fit with so many different bottles. I might just need to buy a few more straws so I have all the different length I could want!

This has been a huge level up on my hikes. I used to get dehydrated easily due to the hassle of reaching for my Nalgene but with this, water is readily available and I drink more during my hikes. My only problem is the bite valve: it makes it hard to get a substantial amount of water at once and also pinches the inside of my lips between the soft silicone and hard plastic. I wish I could get the water to flow more freely from the valve.

Just received and love it. I will monitor how it perform on a freezing day hike. Hope it doesn't freeze.

I ordered a Swig Rig, but there was a lot of bubbles in the flow as I tried it. I contacted the customer support, and they sent me a replacement bite-valve right away. The new one works perfectly! I haven't had a chance to use the Swig Rig on the trail yet, but it fits my backpack nicely. I can't wait to use it. This is an example of excellent customer service. Hardside stands behind their products.

Absolutely love the swig rig set up. So much easier to access than a bladder. Works flawlessly! Couldn't be happier!

This solved the problem we’ve had of not being able to get our waterbottle out of our own side pockets. Water bladders are ok but I’ve had leaks, and you have to dig everything else out to refill. I got the insulated hose and bottle cozy along with the tall Nalgene as a gift for my dad and it’s been doing great. I’m interested to see how well it does below freezing, though I suspect I’ll still get water frozen around the cap where the cozy doesn’t cover.

Great customer service. I had issue with the inner straw coming off. They had become aware of the problem and sent me a new styled one for free. Great product and have referred buddies also.

Thus far it’s been great! Wanted something similar and easy to use like a bladder but I’ve always had issues with bladders leaking after a couple of years. This solves the issue with the badder yet allows me to use the hose like I wanted. Thanks again hardside hydration for an awesome product!

The last time I went to Mount Everest Basecamp, it was a pain to get to my water bottle for a drink. Because I’m going again, I wanted something that would work for my backpack and get the hydration that I need. This has been a great product and has performed above my expectations! I highly recommend it for those using Nalgene bottles, that are hard to get to and their backpack. It was a great buy!
