It’s easy to use and clean but it doesn’t carry well by itself in a daypack and the flow is restrictive. It works great on big packs in side pockets. But imagine a round bottle in the main compartment of a small day pack against your back. It could work well in a sling bag or messenger bag but I don’t hike like that. Also the bite valve is pretty restrictive. A flatter rigid bottle for center carry would be neat.
