I got this dog bed for my 10lb dog, and she enjoys curling up in it under the built in blanket. She's a cuddler and doesn't chew up her bedding so this works well for her. I washed it first before letting her sleep on it, it did fine in the washing machine on delicate and air dry in the dryer/hang dry. I wish that you could zip off the cover for easier washing as I'm not sure how this will hold up long term, but so far so good.

My dog loves this bed! Some of the reviews complain that the top does not stand up like the pictures indicate. While this is mostly true, the top of the bed does have some structure so that you can leave it propped open. It is meant to collapse like a blanket, and my dog took no time in figuring it out. It is sooo soft! I put in the dryer on low for a few minutes to air it out as it was vacuum sealed. Out puppy doesn’t like how unstable the bottom is. It’s very squishy and not firm. He loves to sleep on it if we set him on it, but he usually chooses the firm sleep mat with no fluff. Great value for the money though. He doesn’t snuggle under the cover like I thought her would. This is a soft, cozy bed with a built in hiding place. It's well made but seems more "fluff" than firm. The bed is plush and cushioned well for small lightweight dogs. It won’t pass the “knee” support test for heavy arthritic dogs but does an adequate job for our #14 Maltipoo.
