A Benchmark For Cookbooks!
First, I’m not being compensated for my review. I’ve been a fan and have followed Matt on YouTube for quite some time. Finally decided to buy his cookbook after realizing how many recipes of his I have made. The book is beautiful and unlike any other cookbook I have. It’s hardcover, opens easily, has nice large easy to read print and great photos. His instructions are concise easy to follow. His recipes are excellent incorporating nice layers of flavors and unique well thought out ingredients. The spectrum of culinary goodness spans appetizers to cocktails with well thought out separate sections for poultry, meats, seafood and soups. I’ve made 11 of his recipes so far and intend on doing many more. Of the cookbooks I own, this masterpiece is at the top of the pile and should be used as a standard bearer and benchmark for author/chefs to follow. Beautiful content and worth every penny!!
