I bought this for myself. But I never even saw it when it arrived. My daughter had opened the box and thought it was for her. It took me two days to realize that it had actually been delivered.My daughter refuses to give it back because she loves it so much. She says it has everything a beginner or intermediate artist needs to learn to be better. The quality is there, however it’s not top of the line, and I didn’t expect it to be for the price. But it does the job.

Great set for a budding artist! A lot of options to try/use.Super nice for a newbie, perfect middle ground for someone with experience.Case holds all materials nicely, easy to pull out and put away, yet doesnt move around when case is closed.Variety of different materials to try without having to break the bank buying all at once to find out you may not like it.

Considering just how cheap this set is I wasn't expecting much. But, to my surprise everything is super good quality. Obviously more expensive things will still be better than this, but it's still great. Especially if your a beginner, I definitely recommend. I will say if you are a more professional artist, you should most likely try and invest in even higher quality art supplies, because these won't be very long lasting.

I got this for the grandkids to use when they come over. It's very comprehensive with a multitude of art mediums. Unfortunately I very quickly learned that it is much more than what the kids can currently appreciate or use appropriately. I recommend that in general you don't put this in front of a kid until they are at least in Jr. High, unless they are a very exceptional artist. It really is a very nice art set for the more advanced young adult.

Just about everything you could want for your art in handy and portable binder. I won't list all of the accoutrements as they are already named in the listing. I will say that the one thing I found slightly confusing: the documentation lists micron pens as if there are included in this binder. They are not. But they are included with other versions of this art binder. I haven't used everything in the binder yet, but I did spend quite a bit of time with the artist's pencils, erasers, etc. I have no complaints and expect to get quite a bit of use from as I continue to pursue my artistic education.

This is a great set for a budding artist or a student just starting out. The various pencils and other drawing media are of solid middling quality - good enough to work pretty well with but not expensive enough to break the bank while navigating a learning curve. There are also a number of other handy tools included and instructions on what to do with them, which is fantastic if the recipient is curious and/or self-taught. The different types of paper in the mixed-media sketchbook are also a handy touch, and I'm looking forward to playing around with the different items included. Definitely recommend this one!
