While attending XULA’s virtual class reunion in November, I saw the presentation and was interested in and actually purchased Pure for my 7-year old grandson’s eczema (which is doing wonders by the way) and I decided to get the African Black (and the Aloe one) for myself (two bars each). OMG, I fell in love with African Black —- from the heavenly scent, to the way it made my face (even after one washing!) and skin look and feel...it’s amazing! I mean, I wasn’t even trying to address any particular area of concern and I’d tried other African Black soaps in the past and wasn’t impressed — not to mention I’ve essentially been a body wash girl (as opposed to soap) for years....well Ohene, you changed all that! 😁 Your soaps have no residue and they leave the skin feeling smooth and sleek. I’m hooked for life!

I never knew that all the body washes and bar soaps I used my whole life were trash... I'm historically an ashy person and the low-quality hygiene products I was using prolly didn't help. I love this soap because it's some real soap. I love it because I can tell someone actually cared - I can tell by the quality of the soap and by the packaging - I can tell by the ingredient list. There's definitely some craftsmanship going on here. Using this soap helped set me on a path of giving better care to my body and being less ashy.

The soap makes my bathroom smell glorious. The soap is definitely improved. It rinsed really clean and I love the texture of my skin feels so good. Thank you for your insight on how skin should feel when it's clean. I love the packaging. Very cute.

I love how effective, moisturizing and nourishing the African Black Soap is. The only one I will trust on my kids skin!

I've been using this soap for the pasr 6 months for my face and it works wonders. I suffer from excema and helps keeps my skin at bay. As long as they make this soap I'll keep buying it!

Absolutely love this soap. Living in the midwest is brutal in the winters and I’ve always had an issue with dry skin during the winter months. This product has rectified that issue. It is so gentle I also use the lather from the soap to shave. Wonderful product!

I've had a light form of eczema on my upper arms since I was a child. My mom tried creams, soaps, then budgeted for a dermatologist to relieve my issues. Nothing worked, so I learned to live with it, hiding the problem under sleeved blouses etc. I didn't try African Black for for skin problem but in support of my colleague and his interesting health/business idea. After my first use, I loved the feel of my skin and replaced my other soap. In amazement, within about a week I happened to notice the patchy spots on my upper arms were almost completely gone. So I decided, why not try this stuff on my face!!? Within another couple days, I noticed discoloration on my face was drying up and flaking off?? My skin tone was evening out. The last thing I noticed, I started to not need moisturizer. I only needed a small drop for my face and maybe a couple quarter size amounts for my body. I love this product AND I have saved SOOOO much money!! I don't need all those other products I was using before. Last thing,I can't help it, but the citrus soap I tried, I decided to use as shampoo. I thought I don't want to mess up my good thing with AB, so let's try this somewhere else. LOL Literally, my hair with one wash, then my previous leave in conditioner left my hair softer, shiner and my natural twist out curls were more defined. Jokingly, I told Kofi, what else ya'll got cookin up in there?! I'm a satisfied customer for life! Thanks from the top of my natural head down to my feet!

I've tried a lot of different African black soaps here in Atlanta. This one exceeds them all by far!
