Game changer! Took a friend to this class. Had the best time and made the best hoppers ever! Under the expertise of Rosh who made the class fun, informative and easy! Being Sri Lankan myself and loving hoppers and always told it was complicated to make, I felt liberated. We made our hoppers and ate them with pol sambol, seeni sambol and devilled potatoes that she had made earlier. Oh. And lots of wine from the bar downstairs. We finished off the night with arrack cocktails which I’m not usually keen on but surprised how lovely it was so I’ve bought her cocktail kit as well as the home kit to impress my friends and fam. Thank you Rosh and Mimi for a wonderful evening!

Such a great class! A friend suggested we go and I am so pleased we did. The class was really informative and Rosh was a great teacher and host. We loved making the hoppers and then eating then with the devilled potatoes and sambols that Rosh provided too. Also had the bonus of an arack cocktail afterwards which was delicious. Was an extra special evening as my friend is Sri Lankan and had never known how to make her favourite meal herself -now she does and I am looking forward to both recreating the hoppers experience myself and for my friend to make them for me too :-) Thanks Rosh and Mimi - such fun!

Recently I went to Rosh's Hopper class in Clapham Junction and joined a group of people to learn how to make an Hopper. Rosh explained in details how to prepare the dough and showed us how to make one. Then we all had a go while Rosh was keeping a watchfull eye on our performance, passing around and giving us advise. A great teacher and cook as her food was succulent! The class and the evening was really fun & eveyone was very nice ! That was my first experience of eating an hopper and now I love them! Thanks Rosh! Looking forward to learning how to cook more Sri Lankan dishes in the future!

Rosh's hopper class is the perfect mix of learning and eating. After a short demo, with an explanation of what hoppers are, how to mix the batter and how long to leave it to ferment, you are given hopper batter, a pan and a burner and let loose to make your own. Rosh provides eggs, tasty curry, sambols and sweet topppjngs to go on top of the hoppers so you can adorn yours to your tastes. Learning as you go, it's a great hands-on class to attend solo or as a group. Strongly recommend this class for fans of Sri Lankan food (aka. the best cuisine ever)! Thanks Rosh.

We recently hosted a corporate event in partnership with a Sri Lankan hotel for a group of travel agents, all selling Sri Lanka as a destination. Rosh's Hoppers Cooking Class is perfect not only for beginners but also people who already know and love Hoppers! Her demonstration it made it clear and easy for us to go off and make them ourselves, plus it's really fun! The dishes and cocktail served alongside the hoppers are also super delicious! I will definitely be having a go at making Hoppers again at home. Thank you Rosh for an amazing experience!

My partner spotted Rosh's hopper class and we booked as we've actually made hoppers at home a few times, but with some disaster stories associated with 3 / 4 of the attempts. The class itself was great, the recipes were straightforward without steps that add effort for little gain and the level of instruction was perfect. We attended Rosh's hopper class in Brixton this week and had such a fabulous time. Individualised personal instruction and practical easy to follow information cards. Such a wonderful night out! We even got delicious home made curry to eat with our hoppers. I have always wanted to learn to make this challenging Sri Lankan stable.
